Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

Yes it is PS :chai:

How does it bother you if some woman is not used to of working like you?

If you were raised that way then yes it's your right.

So you are the real princess. :cb:

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

Yes na  How else would I know all this? :@:

Waisey, it’s just an observation. I was hoping to get some highly charged replies from the menfolk but I guess they are all on vacation :frowning:

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

In all seriousness,

I have seen the adjustment problems and it takes a total of 10 years for these goris to let go of their nakhrey.

lol

3 years left to go…:champ:

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

:rotfl:

The first step is always admitting!

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

Who’s admitting? I’m gonna beat the record. :hehe:

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

What about kaali ke nakhray?

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

For that topic, the title would be

Kaali ke nukhray, thoo thoo.

(only joking, no offense to any dark skinned ladies. I think dark skin is much sexier than white)

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

^you're racist.

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

^ Is that because I think that dark skin is sexier than white skin?

Yes, how dare they have their own opinion

Oups, sorry!

and on top of that, those of us who are here, are condemned for not teaching our kids proper language, proper tradition.. etc etc.... geez!

Re: Gori dey nakhrey, shaawa!

phir wohi ghissa pitta topic :smack: live and let live ppl, its their business and their lives. stop being so judgemental and having a holier than thou attitude, for most thats more of a turn-off than an inept fob.

A girl who was raised in a rich pakistani family, who has never worked in her life will obviously find it hard to adjust in a middle class american family where she would have to do all these chores. Don't blame the girl here, blame whoever thought this rishta could work out!
I am from pakistan and my fiance is from US, I don't mind doing chores and taking care of the house ,however, I want independence from inlaws and theres no way I am ever going to live in joint family. Thats one of the things I can't compromise on and it has nothing to do with "nakhra", its basic freedom.

As far as struggle and hardwork is concerned, if you're getting a spoilt brat who never had to worry about such stuff, is it really her fault?

Is this how girls are being raised these days or are the standards of living back home so high that the poor princesses can't adjust here?
[/quote]

Girls who are from rich families here do have very high standards and don't like the idea of slaving in the kitchen or cleaning when their maids do that for them here. Problem is that when these US guys look for rishtas in Pakistan, they look for those hot modern well dressed, well spoken, well educated defence girls, not the average hardworking middle class girl from nazaimabad or some small town.
