i hated 1and1, would never recommend it. much easier to deal with CPanel than their own brand of whatever they use

True. I only had the pleasure of registering couple of domains with them and it is not *easy *to use at all. I can't imagine what their control panel for web hosting is like!

Are you in Pakistan or US?

If Pakistan and want US hosting, I would go with SoftLayer.com.. number one in my books!

Also if you're not looking for dedicated servers, look at VPS instead for medium sized sites , the best one would be www.asmallorange.com - top support and #1 VPS provider around.

1and1 was good in its times but there are young innovative companies like Softlayer, Liquidweb..etc
