Those who can make it? right that is why the subway and buses always break down 
NYC is as real as is your love for islam. Regardless you want to compare standard of living indicators pick on that is on a city level. Public transport sucks. Health facilities are expensive and unavailable to a great deal of New Yorkers. The concept of manners is alien to New Yorkers.

And roman you would have to live in 8 countries and visited over 50 like yours truly to get an understanding of what it is to live in the worlds best cities.

Sweetheart you can change that if you want. The fact is that NYC sucks in comparision on basic standard of life indicators with third world nations. That is the cold hard truth.

Fact is NYC isn't for some people as it can be a tough city that spits a lot of people out. If you look at it you'll see it doesn't have clean subways like the accumulate BART in San Francisco and you'll see it doesn't hide its homeless as well as other places. You'll see that it is a dirty city in many parts and that China Town on a hot summer day produces a stench that is hard to describe. Now instead of just looking at the city if you decide to actual be part of it (that means more than being there) you'll expericence the culture that flows from the city like the Mississippi river, the city produces electricity and it's not from the lights in Time Square. It is a multi-dimensional character that has the good, the bad, and the ugly intertwined within it and if it were any other way it wouldn’t be New York
While CM may not get to experience the buzz the city gives people it's clear that many people do and that's why it is epicenter of so many things. It's a living breathing city and it is clearly not for everyone.
....I do not live there but that is my expericence with NYC.
