Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

i have tried making wax at home..its such a mess..and it never turns out the way its supposed to....which is why i would recommend the cream wax.....due to the fact its best for thick AND fine hair....gigi makes honey wax and other kinds for different kinds of hair...but my preference is cream...
remember ladies..no pain..no gain.. :)

and Gina!! i love your remedies...ive been trying the turmeric/milk bath....its divine...

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

i use gigi wax at home
its amazing

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

gina,

could you explain the blackhead removal paste? any comments on facial scrubs and blackheads and retin a and blackheads? thanks in advance

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Chanda, hugs

Saap u mix baking soda and water so it forms a thick paste..apply it to the area's where u have blackheads and let it dry..then just scrub it off!

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

girls i need urgent help actually i was reading this thread and found 1 can use honey n cinamin for uneven skin tones ...
my couisn has this prob so i told her but when she washes this mask after 20 mins or so her face was like (lal tamatar) and she was feeling sum kind a burning on her face..she was cursing me that what i told her :(.now its been 2 days still she feels warmness on her face and after that mask when ever she is washing face her face skin got redness on forhead and both checks
now help?what does she do...

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Kjal, I don't think u read my post completely! I clearly wrote apply directly on scars...why did u ask her to use it as a MASK!? Cinnamon & honey in equal quantities over pimples and scars NOT used as a mask....as her to blend a cucumber cool it an apply it all over her face and leave it on for 20 mins. Or if u can get multani mitti and combine it with rose water till it forms a paste...apply it as a MASK and leave it on till it dries.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

i bought this Dove exfoliator body scrub.. do u think it will help in reducing the darkness of underarms, n upper thigh area.. :s

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

smughul, unfortunately scrubs don't lighten dark area's =( however they prevent ingrown hair..switch to waxing if u're shaving or using creams..

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

:( .. ok.. i'll try to wax.. but wht to do with the dark skin? woh kese theek hoge :( .. * i feel like crying badly.. *

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Aww don't cry! I have given a couple of remedies earlier, look into those n see if they work for you =)

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Exclusively for all the brides-to-be =) start u're regimen atleast a month before u're wedding. You may either visit a skin clinic and follw-up with them or do home-made grandma's "nuska's"!
6.) Cinnamon & honey extremely good for uneven skin tones (apply and leave on for 20 mins and wash off)

yes cinnamon and honey lighten dark spots on the face indopak, however don't use it for dark-circles! For dark circles, buy vitamin E capsules and massage the oil under u're eyes everyday..

I just tried the cinnamon and honey thing..and my face is LIKE RED...almost as if it's burned! :| I dont know what to do....like the areas where i put it on my face and didn't..you can see the line of the red and normal skin..WHAT SHOULD I DO? I just put some milk on my face. :| I am freaking out!

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

btw why she and pyari si bachi got this redness and burning prob after applying it?

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

can you name a wash lotion that is 20% glycolic wash/lotion. (i also have a problem with in grown hair and redness/itchiness when new hair starts to come)
and also, is GiGi's available in, like, walmart or stores like that?

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Mehreen..MD forte has an awesome glycolic wash (20%)
Gigi is available from your local Sally's beauty supply store..

you can also get a 30% glycolic peel and mix it with a salicylic cleanser in a small plastic jar...make more as needed.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

gina do u have anything for a red nose?..im always red over my lips and on my nose..it looks so ugly

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Kjal u missed the post where sumone wrote that it got rid of their acne completely =) everyone has different skin types...I wrote specifically to be applied on SPOTS and marks...and u said her whole face is red..so i'm assuming she applied it to her entire face. Sum amounts of redness are normal with cinnamon and honey...not to worry abt.

Malaikah..is u're upper lip area? Try a mixture of multani mitti and rosewater..make a paste out of it and apply it chilled.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

ok anyway forget it...it took few days but she is fine now thanx God...:)
