Giving up your seat

How many of you do that for anyone pregnant, any woman, any old man or woman or someone with children?

Do you find it necessary?

Re: Giving up your seat

I would.
I have and........necessary or not, I find it courteous.

Re: Giving up your seat

i don't use public transportation...when i used to ride city buses during my student life, i did offer my seat to elderly, infirm and or pregnant women...it's the right N decent thing to do...

Re: Giving up your seat

I pretty much always give it to old people or a pregnant lady but not normal women, unless I am not tired and my station is nearby!

Re: Giving up your seat

I have done it, I do it and will do it.

Necessary or not but that's what I have been taught.

Re: Giving up your seat

I do. And I like those men who give up their seat for me.

Re: Giving up your seat

did it once for an elderly.

us ke baad aisa koi mouqa nahi aaya.

in future yes i would do it if the other one needs to sit down.

Re: Giving up your seat

If I expect someone to give up their seat for me, I should do the same for others.

Re: Giving up your seat

I would definitely. It's common courtesy especially for the elderly and pregnant

Re: Giving up your seat

I would, for my self-esteem. :halo:

Now, who will ever say they won’t and look like an evil fool here ? :hmmm:

Re: Giving up your seat

i would and have for the elderly, for a pregnant lady or even a lady with a kido in her godi

Re: Giving up your seat

yep

Re: Giving up your seat

I do, always have and always will...

Re: Giving up your seat

definitely. and this meharbani is not limited to women, it also includes aged people etc etc

Re: Giving up your seat

Ok another question, why not a lady give her seat up for a guy, now that'd be awesome.

Re: Giving up your seat

I do that , it's courteous.

Re: Giving up your seat

Why would she until guy is mentally challenged?

Re: Giving up your seat

If it's an elderly man or a guy on crutches or something, I would give up my seat. But there's a bit of ego/offense issue. How would a hale and hearty guy feel if offered a seat by a woman for no reason?

Re: Giving up your seat

Aadmi becharay kaam kar kar ke thakay hotay hain

I’d be like no but its the thought that counts!
