So I don’t think that’s demanding a bit too much, is it? Good education and some brains? Sorry but I’m not going to marry a college drop out who works in Tesco (mind you, retail industry pays pretty darn well, especially for managerial type roles). If that’s shallow and too princessy, so be it.

Agreed! BTW, don’t forget ambition! I know a few people who have the education/brains (thanks to their parents) but after they got the education…they didn’t really do much b/c of lack of ambition.
