I will answer simply because I am one of those guys. I am an older over bearing protective brother. A guy looks at my sister funny I go have a chat with him. And guys who hit on my sister....well they are lucky I am not in the same country as them. I will inform them of whats what and that I have diplomatic immunity so I can get away with a lot of ****.

I totally understand you. But there is this thing with girls. One the are comfortable around you they automatically think we RESPECT them just as much.

it is most definitely NOT cute to be an overprotective male figure, it reeks of insecurities and weaknesses, and is very condescending and insulting to women to assume they need you to protect them and make decisions for them. in my book, chichoray and desi bhais are the same exact people.
