Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

Do u think u may have been pregnant?

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

I am not even married...and no i haven't done anything wrong either...

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

^If you're not pregnant, it may just be stress or some external factor disrupting your cycle. Has it been like this for several days? What color is it? (is that TMI?)

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

Its blood (dark red)..but kind of jama hua and sticky looking...and today is third day...i have been taking these herbal slimming pills could it be because of that?? whatever it is it had freaked me out bad.

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

Teelo, i don't think u should b worried about it being anything serious, delay could be due to stress or hormone imbalance or anything. The solid stuff if it is dark would b blood clots, which is merely a clumpy part of the normal uterine lining that is shed during your period.

Its just blood clot and no bloody discharge...?

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

Dark red or brownish blood is usually blood that's been around for a while -- perhaps your body is just going through a natural cleansing.

As for the slimming pills, just be careful about what you put in your system. I suppose there could be a connection. What are they?

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

OMG, what slimming pills? STAY AWAY FROM STUFF LIKE THAT. This could definitely affect your cycle and hormonal balance.

They are herbal though...the ones you get at stores, not the prescribed ones so i thought i might lose some weight and they wont be harmful.

As i said they are herbal ones so i thought they might not be/ less harmful..but i have stopped taking them now since 3 days lets see if it helps.

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

I get those sometimes too. Ive been to gyno, had blood tests done and nothing was wrong with me. Its clumpy looking right? She told me it happens and everything was fine.

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

My period is horrible. I get an upset stomach, clumpy looking things, cramps, bloating, sick feeling in my tummy, nausea, etc. It used to be worse but BC helped a lot.

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

Yeah teelo, dont worry.

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

Bc?

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

My period was irregular and the symptoms were just too much to bear. I would get fevers, vomitting, etc.

To regulate my period, I went on birth control and that helped.

For my symptoms, I went on homeopathic medicine. Maybe it was that or time but now it is so much better. The pain isnt so bad that I cant leave the house anymore.

Re: (Girls only please unless you can seriously help) - help

oh...i never experienced such things..mine is heavy but no pain at all plus i also knew a day before my periods would start this is the first time thats why i just freaked out..

Hey Teelobhain,

How are your iron levels? Often times women have iron-deficiency anemia which can cause heavy bleeding during periods, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, and weakness. Women are more likely to be anemic because we lose blood each month during our period, so we lose iron through the blood. My sister is anemic and the doctor prescribed iron tablets for her. Just make sure that you take a multivitamin during your period. Take it with orange juice, because vitamin C helps the body absorb iron better. It's a common problem. I don't get much iron in my diet either, so I take an iron-containing multivitamin during my period and it makes me feel better. So try that. I hope you feel better.
