But you said that insensitive person does not want to listen to you. Why you are bent to talk to such an insensitive person. If you have his picture talk to that and pretend that he is there. How difficult is that ?

That’s great! But you should realize that not everyone feels that way. Everyone is different when it comes to dealing with stress, being tired etc.

For example…when you’re sleepy/tired, you feel “refreshed” by talking to your guy. Me…when I’m sleepy/tired…I don’t want to talk to anyone…I just want to relax and sleep. Conversation at that point(even with my guy) actually annoys me. You and I are both women in relationships…but with 2 very different ways of dealing with being sleep/tired. :slight_smile: Same goes for your guy…he has a different way of dealing with being tired/sleepy…its nothing personal against you.

If my hubby didn't listen to me when I needed to talk, that would be the end of sleeping for him I can tell you!!! He hasn#t ever done this to me though, if I need to talk he will always listen. I am sure he would not be able to sleep knowing I am upset about something , and of course that would keep me awake, tossing and turning..so he probabley wouldn't get that sleep anyway!!!!

Well if he needed to talk, no matter how tired I may be, i will definately sacrifice my sleep for my hubby, it's all part of the relationship ,being there when you really need them. It doesn't make one a jallad.

It is ok to feel ignored, but you probably know well enough deep in your heart that he wasn’t trying to ignore you. You fear being ignored. Start paying more attention to the littlest things he says and does for you that makes you feel good. Tell yourself that he doesn’t ignore you or want to because he does all those things and actually genuinely cares about you, otherwise he wouldn’t be marrying you, right?

Also, like paheli00 mentioned, try to think about how he must be feeling at that moment. Sympathy for a tired loved one makes you feel better too.

Its the other way around for us… I’m usually dead tired after a full day of work, household chores and daughter’s activities… so I go to bed early. Husband comes later and keeps talking… sometimes even wakes me up from deep sleep :bummer: I try to listen but fall asleep :frowning:
Does that make me insensitive?

He doesn’t mind… after all he has his laptop with him ALL the time, even when he comes to sleep :smack: Watches those stupid talk shows on Geo first, then goes to sleep.
