For me I say it and usually fall asleep almost immediately, so it doesn't feel like anything. I don't even stay awake long enough to add a "good night".

That reminds me, my ex used to get very mad whenever i would fall asleep talking to her. I mean you can't blame me...i have been studying medical and it wasn't easy.

I know it sounds like a totally crazy and ridiculous idea, but I’d let him sleep. If he’s tired he won’t be paying that much attention to me anyway and what’s the point of talking to someone when you don’t have their attention?
