Ok, I'm sick of hearing from guys - oh women, we never know what you're thinking, how are we supposed to read your minds....blah blah whine whine whine.
Let me lay it out for you clowns:
Get an edu-ma-cation. Get refined. Learn some good vocabulary. Learn to speak a full sentence in proper English grammar. Have a degree. Not an associate's - that's BS. Jaahil Aunties can do associates. You better have a bachelor's. You better have some further qualifying education - PhD, MD, JD, MBA, whatever. Anything that can qualify you for a 50,000+ job.
Get a job. Earn enough to pay bills and provide some minor luxuries at least for a wife, and be able to afford diapers. You're going to need them.
Cut the cord. You love your mother. We love our mothers. We get it. But she needs to stay out of your home. You are an adult. Start acting like it. Make your own decisions. Pay your own bills. Become independent. Try leaving home for college - that always helps. Try living on your own for a while - you'll gain more respect for things, and you'll learn to work hard for yourself.
Look for the right qualities in a woman. Not - yeah I can bang HER. Jeez louise. Be able to be her friend. Try being her friend, and see if that works out for you - can you tolerate her talking? You like having conversations with her? Would you want HER to be the mother of your kids? Basically, use your own brain.
After you marry with her. Stay with her. She may be annoying. Maybe she farts in her sleep. Maybe she tells you your sister's face looks like a mudpie and even if it actually does look like a mudpie, so what? Maybe you think her brother needs to lose 10 lbs. Shut up. Deal with it. Talk it out with her. Agree to move to a place where both of you are far away from inlaws. And do not under any circumstance leave her or act like a d*ck, because somehow our culure and religion gave YOU the upper hand. So be responsible, and act like a real man.
I don't know girls - is this rocket science? Judging how desi men are these days, you would think it is.
speak for urself na, God forbid if every women starting thinking like u, not a single home will stay intact. One has to earn respect n I doubt ur attitude or thinking will earn u any of that.

Unless you're a bantwa-wallah memon - those girls and their families - I kid you not, because I have a friend who did this: will give the guy
- car
- house - his name is put on it
- a job if he doesn't have one already
- watches/perfumes/small luxuries
- all the furniture/cookware/etc in their home
So for bantway wallah memons, a dowry is a really big deal.

They only marry their girls to other Bantwa's. If a Bantwa girl marries out, most of those families will not give all that Jehaz out of sheer anger. I am sure there are exceptions out there, but the Bantwas here are pretty strict. My best friend totally has rebelled and she's not even getting her inheritance, so doubt they'll get her a home. shrugs

Its tight living.
I earned 30K as a teacher, and there was NO WAY I could afford to pay rent and do anything else, so i had to live with my parents.
You just need a woman who is on the same page as you regarding the money that she will not be overspending.

First, I cant believe you actually believe Maury and Jerry Springer shows, they're fake.
Second, the only superiority complexes Ive seen are the ones being imported here.
Third, why would you air out your personal information thinking it will impress someone? $6500/month is nothing - very average and common - so what was that all about? I suggest keeping that bit of info to yourself next time. Is this the first time you've seen money? Have some class.
