well its not that there was nothing gay going on in Pakistan before enlightened moderation. and from what i hear its not just present in modern areas.
and this is nto the only thing, the unmodern pakistan of 80s has mujray, and if u see pashto movies of that era, music shows and all, poetry, some literature..of that era or even earlier, not all that stuff could be considered kosher..err halal :)

your argument is, being gay is haram, okay..and thus one should not encourage that lifestyle. okay I see your point.
now lets turn the page and see what else is haram, yet that lifestyle is encouraged, sympathised etc. shahi mohalla is one example. and surely not all of that can be blamed on madran logaan, because that has been around for decades, centuries, other aspects of the culture, yeah the londay baazi in certain groups..is not really prevelant in ‘modern’ people but rather backwards folks ya know.

I have not encouraged any act in this thread, I dont recall anywhere where I have justified that lifestyle.

the point is that you are saying look look some ppl are sympathetic to gays, bhago bhago aasman gir raha hai.
all i said was, yeah sure, but when people in the country are sympathetic or accepting of all these other haram acts, a handful of ppl sympathizing with gays is not the bigger issue.

If you believe on Quran then read **Surat-e-Lut **and find out why these activities are forbidden in Islam and all the monotheistic religions, but if you still cant grasps what is mention in Quran then do some research on Dead Sea.
