Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Like Hudood laws which ask for 4 witnesses to prove rape? If not, give me a call when 'true' Islamic laws, whatever they are, will get implemented in Pakistan. Until than, its NGOs for the victims as their only hope.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Difference in Pakistan and other countries.

Having sex at teen age is not unsocial.

Being rape is a GAME.

Brother talks about his sister's sexual preferences.

Mother gets worried about daughter not gettin a boyfriend and not being sexually attracted to anyone.

People may not be sure who their father be.

'Inbred' is not exactly a joke.

Father sends off daughter to go to Prom so she can go with a boy for the night.

Teenage pregnant girl is left alone with her child to raise the kid.

For years woman lives with a man and puts up with his non-sense in a hope that this man eventually will MARY her. Which may not happen.

Date_rape is commoner than the police ever get the chance to book people for it.

NOW!!!!

DO you think we need these countires to tell us the morals?

ALL these points are not just to show how horrible other societies are...its to open your eyes to the facts of life!

Yes evil people exist in any society and in any cultures.
Pakistan is portrayed as evil country because of you so called liberal minded women's ignorant and amotional behaviour and so obvious political agenda.
................................................................

its like if a person commits a crime that person is called an unidentified man or by that person's proper name or just ................................. ' man whose identity is not revealed by the police'!.......................
But if a crime is commited by a person who has muslim name then it is
shown all over ' A 'moslem' man is charged for such and such crime!!!

At the expense of Pakistani honor, many outsiders had a field day and are enjoying the the false reputaion against Pakistan.

Now let me ask you:

Is Pakistan and its honor bigger than this woman's victimization?

Do you want me to write this in Punjabi or whatever if you cannot get the actual message from my posts?

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Dumb argument.

The requirement for four people is actually protective for the woman so no man can actually claim false charges against his wife.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

False charges against a woman is severely punishble act and 'liberal' ' women will not praise this hudood law!

Its all Islam bashing in the hand of outside media brain washing my dear.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

I know I shouldn't be, but I am shocked at your response.

Rape is not a game but in the minds of jahil men the world over. But how can you even compare the other things to gang rape? In the west when a crime occurs, the police and court attempts to provide justice, but NOT IN PAKISTAN. Here, the police and court will protect the criminal and accuse the victim. This DOES NOT HAPPEN IN DEVELOPED COUNTRIES. This is not about learning morals, all of us I hopw know that rape is wrong and immoral, but it is the justice system of the west that we could benefit from.

But do you even know what justice means? Do you even understand what the poblem is? And nothing is bigger than injustice to a victim. Allah will not ask us if we protected some man made country's honour, he will ask us if we provided justice to those deprived of it.

Individual crimes can happen everywhere, but when village councils orders rapes, it shows that that society is jahil to its core. Now tell me which Western town council has ordered gang rapes?

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

I think you are very naive since you did not get the meaning of the the sentance I wrote.

Rape is considered a game for many many and many women at many many and many places in the world. (I do not mean it was considered game by Mai-Just to clarify)

It maybe considered too explicit to explain you on this nice forum and evil things need to be hidden or left to be guessed… in my humble opinion.

Anyway, SO FAR, I have no doubt in your sincerity towards seeking justice for the oppressed women in Pakistan and nor I am against ANY law against any evil person who commits horrible crimes against a woman. ( Please keep my faith in you)

I just wanted to point out the obvious,… but intentionally covert agenda by outsiders to defame the great country Pakistan.

Someone said it earlier…how can one go against women’s right? Our wives, mothers, sisters and daughters..all are women!

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Bulls*it. NGOs are not a simple issue. MM’s rape is. Don’t confuse the two.

Not all NGOs are the same…those that base their operations in Pakistan typically are orders of magnitude better than those outside. Ehdi’s right there at the top…

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Apparently, my point is not getting across to you…

And judging from your infantile and petty responses, it's fruitless to have you assess this topic in 3-D, instead of 1-D!

Admittedly, introspection leads to a realistic and cynical view of issues

sometimes but in the same token, you cannot stop the progression of social evolution and acknowledge the positive outcome.

You are in denial to deem the efforts and courage put forth by Mukhtaran and the NGO's, as politically driven only.

Whether someone’s actions conceal their true identities or vice versa is not for us to judge…that is upto ALLAH (SWT).

Remember, the honor of a nation is entrenched in the character of it's collective and *earnest* individuals.

It is an insecure mindset that judges a nation based on the actions of a few and considers it defamation on a nationwide scale.

If you trying to dissuade those few, you are trying to appease the same individuals that believe everything they read…GOOD LUCK!!

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

No one questioned the courage and sincerity on her part, its the ultimate effect which is worldwide negative propaganda against Pakistan which is being criticised. AND IT MUST BE CRITICISED in order to stop outsiders pokinbg their noses into a country’s matter.

I hope you have some comments on the so called champions of ethics and political figures advertising against pakistan. just read the newspapers in the world and radio people how they are making a huge deal about it. Even attacking Islam, its rules and Calling Pakistan with bad names out of their deep rooted hatred.

Its ALL political propaganda at the expense of few victims. You do not want to believe then its your problem.

True. So do you think that collectively Pakistani are evil?
Or its the few who are put in power without Pakistani people’s choice and are supported by same outsiders?

OK. Now please tell this to people who are really portraying great Pakistan as an evil country.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Rape is considered a game by many many women? This is either a blatant lie or misinformation. Go ahead and prove this statement. Forced sex is never considered a game by a sane woman anywhere in the world.

And how can you declare Pakistan a great country? Nothing great about a country where gang rapes, honour killings, corruption are rampant. No one can defame Pakistan, the people are doing it all by themselves with their actions. Writing about this is no crime.

People in government of Pakistan are going against women because they obviously have little respect for their own womanfolk.

picoico, majority of NGO’s are doing amazing work. Even the army in earthquake areas for instance acknowledged their great work. I would love to know which NGO’s are doing bad work. Maybe some are, but they are very few.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Abhi Bacchi Ho. I don’t know if you want to either act like naive or really naive.

yes, I see in every family and every corner and in every school, college madrassa even in assemblies gang rape, honour killings, corruption. I do see people running after each other with guns and kidnapping children. Thanks for opening my eyes to worlds evil country. How can I thank you more for bringing these so obvious flaws in ‘so called’ great country??? Bunch of animals got together and made pakistan so we can humiliate women by every excuse we can find. And freaking mullahs, they just hate women so all women are declared shaitani creatures and commiting zana even if they are raped, so they can be stoned to death and men laugh at them or whistle. Thank you, thank you and…thank you. You are sooooooooooooooo smart and saviour of Pakistani poor women.

yes you are right. I see everything so clear! :nono:

Bad work,…ummmm for example forcing mai to go around everywhere even if she does not even understand english and what is said to her or about her outside!

But I forgot…her crime was that she was born and raised in an evil country full of devils or devil worshipers!

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Your point is clear…what you don’t understand is that I simply reject them as naive…regardless of your proclamations.

Accusing me of not thinking is laughable. I’m not the one who holds NGOs as sacred. A degree of cynicism (born from experience, I assure you) is in order.

You are convoluting the two. The NGOs did not get raped. Hers is a high profile rape that actually got the government in action, and some NGOs swooped in AFTER the fact.

NGOs have an almost total public profile…it’s the public’s responsibility to judge them and not take them at face value.

The few should think more, and understand the reality and ubiquity of the insecure, not to mention the war mongering these paranoid types have already generated in the past four years.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

You validated his point. You’re judging the whole nation for the acts of a few, and simply using these acts as a stick to beat the nation down with as opposed to the stated goal of highlighting a problem. When there is a problem, the country needs solutions and those with them…not detractors.

Some NGOs do, others don’t. Exactly. I don’t know about quantity…I know of a few I trust and I stick with them.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

all american supported NGO,s must be banned...their corrupt role is evident to every1...they have done billions of dollar of corruption...
i hope agencies have nice plans for fake mai...

these r NGO,s who r involved in many anti paki and islamic activities... hell to them

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

which manusmrii do u have .. my manusmriti reads this in IX.25

[font=Times New Roman]Thus has been declared the ever pure popular usage (which regulates the relations) betweenhusband and wife; hear (next) the laws concerning children which are the cause of happiness in thisworld and after death.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

deedawar, I know you meant this as sarcasm, but you are not so far from the truth about Pakistani treatment of women and minorities. Many Pakistani Muslims have lost all sense of justice and morals. Take a look at this incidence, among so many others that happen in Pakistan. If only our “brave” Muslims had the same “courage” to go after rapists and murderers that they do to go after innocent Christians. Too much to ask from Mullahs I guess. At least no one died.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2005-11-12-muslim-crowd_x.htm
Muslim crowd burns two Pakistan churches
LAHORE, Pakistan (AP) — Hundreds of Muslims attacked and burned two churches in Pakistan on Saturday after reports that a Christian man had desecrated Islam’s holy book. No one was injured in the blazes.

You can keep being sarcastic but the problems are in front of everyone’s faces, but some will choose to deny them and deflect the blame to NGOs, the West, liberals etc.

And I am not a female. I realize my name is misleading, but it is after a place in Karachi. Rape is not game, and your statement is false. Feel free to prove it.

Picoico, when the majority of a nation remains quiet on these issues, one has to judge the moral compass of the nation. The problem has been repeatedly highlighted and the solution is in an effective court and police system, which does not exist. When rule of law does not exist, how can there be justice? Why doesn’t the military government use the same tactics they use against terrorists against rapists as well? Suspected terrorists are dragged to anti-terrorist courts and quickly punished, why not the same with suspected rapists?

The onus is on the Pakistani government to solve this problem, not the victims of these crimes. If they don’t solve the problem, whatever bad publicity they get is entirely their fault. The time for hand holding and empty platitudes is gone. It’s time for action.

NFO’s have provided solutions if anyone is willing to listen to them. Do away with hudood laws, provide basic education, train police on dealing with rape crimes, punish police who refuse to help rape victims, protect the victims of retaliation, and carry out punishments for gang rapes without delay. All of this can be achieved with a leader who is bold enough to take action, instead of talking.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Well, throughout your posts after posts you have managed to prove one thing.

You hate Pakistan!

Well, what else can be taken out wheh you said I was not that far from truth after what I wrote in my post. You need help and clean up your sick mind. May Allah/God bless you. I would rather discuss these issues who has sensible mind.
Good luck.
I would say, hudood laws implemented properly is one of the many solutions of Pakistan.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

I do not hate Pakistan, but certianly I cannot love a country that goes against everything Allah has told us is just and right.

The country of Pakistan needs the most help here. Good luck

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

And yet you oppose Allah's (hudood) laws. Above are pathetic arguments by you.
Please go find a cure for your hatred.

Re: Gang rape victim gets Glamour award

Agreed, Pakistan has strayed far,far from the vision of Quaid, and is certainly not run as a honest, religious country. From top to bottom

It is often Islamic in public and in name only. What goes behind almost every closed doors is so un-Islamic, and would shame even those in the ‘kafir’ West :frowning:
