In Islam, there is ijtehad and upon new modern techniques and technologies that we now have, the hudood laws need to be revised!
C’mon, even a child knows how stupid it is for a woman to produce 4 witnesses for her rape (men don’t go around showing it to people, they rape in secrecy…).

I would say one thing though, the version of hudood law we have seen is twisted and you mentioned same thing out of your limited knowledge of its background. I do agree that Ijtead is desperately needed in many Islamic rules and its implimentations.

Dada gee, Hudood law is part of islamic law. Evil acts occur in any society and laws are broken in every society every second. This does not make laws bad. People are bad and need to be punished by the system. Point is no one else from outside must be sought to solve problems.
Pakistani people are not given their choices in selecting their rulers and mainly implementations of islamic laws and we see no punishments for people who go against Islamic values like this.

islamic injunction gives fullr giths to ridicule others faith but even the indirect attack on quranic injunction by non-musli becomes blashphemy and death is the penalty.. pray tell me how do find this equitable justice system........ i find it hard to conceive this idea of justice in any fair society

Again, the topic is not islam here. What some people do in the name of islam does not mean islam is at fault.
Interpretation will be correct only if it is based on Quran and Hadees.
Anything else is just human made, ritual, custom, culture, and perhaps jahaalat.

Islam confirmed christianity and Judaism. Islam confirmed Christ (issa) PBUH miraculous birth and his God given abilities. Islam confirmed Moses and his nations and his hardships for his nation. More can be said but I think and hope you got the meassage.
Open another thread for Islam and its teachings and perhaps mods may close the thread since silly arguments keep coming off topic forcing me answer for the record.

really first thing prophet did was ridiculing pagans and again first thing he did after winning makkah was to give pagans either conver or leave makkah.. so much for " there is no compulsion in matters of faith" :-)
