Re: For Pakistan to Prosper…
Until PTI actually say how they will make any changes, many people will be sceptical about IK.
Anybody can say “I will change XYZ.”
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
I understand it hurts. And it hurts everyone else who realises what Zardari has done to this country. I wish jiyalas were as emotional about their country as about Bhutto.
Did it ever occur to you that PPP supporters have supported Bhutto's because they consider them the best option for Pakistan??
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper…
Because people are muafiq, they don’t see what their party’s role in the destruction always behaving holier than though is the major problem with such pakis. Expecting intelligent discussions in such circumstances is just stupid.
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
Disband military? :@:
Yes. What justification you have for having this huge military which suck up the 80% of pakistani budget without any purpose?
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
You have mentioned the problem. And what is the solution?
no solution for those who are not looking for it, just for your info, the solution was in the next reply of mine... but i guess that was missed as it doesn't have the spice to make drama out of it...
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
Get rid of white elephant.
Will that improve the economy and eliminate the mega corruption carried out by the government if the white elephant is removed?
By the way whose responsibility is to keep the white elephant in check?
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....

That is state secret and highly sensitive information, even IK have no access to such thing...
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
i think ppp supporters have set very highest standard for leadership of country if leader is not from ppp
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
PPP is much better than bhatta khor, rapist, killer party you support. mqm ne to roti kaprah aor makan ka hal begunah logo ko qatal karnay ka dya hay. na rahay been na bajay bhansri. And you are singing song of Musharraf jo na sirf urban dakoo hay balke qatil bhi hay. us kay ghubaray ki hawa nikl gai hay magar chamchon ka shor ab bhi sunnanay main aaraha hay.
MQM is not running the country. It is PPP.
Rightfully or wrongfully, but PPP supporters can only throw filth on others instead of defending the policies of government which are ruining the country. Actually, they have ruined the country already. Just as State Bank is saying.
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
Who is saying you are wrong or right?
It doesn't matter, because when you support people who do worse, your msg will hardly be taken as an honest appraisal.
As for MQM having alliance with PPP, this is one of the many reasons Zardari is not popular with PPP workers.
You completely overlooked the part where I said that I support some of MQM policies and some I don't, just like I do like some of PPP policies. But my supporting some of PPP policies doesn't make me a PPP supporter. Similarly my supporting some of MQM policies doesn't make me an MQM supporter.
Do try to see what I was saying about PPP's throwing Pakistan in the abyss of debt, and that debt causing the price hike.
What is Pakistan's no.1 problem these days? It is not Taliban. It is INFLATION (price-hike). And as per State Bank, PPP government's debt spree is one of the causes of it.
Now what does this argument against PPP have anything to do with MQM or ANP or Osama or Amreeka or India? *PPP government is running the country and it will get the blame if Pakistan's economy goes down the hill. PPP supporters can not blame MQM or Amreeka or Nawaz Sharif or Imran Khan for their own wrong deeds.

Then why are they (you?) still with PPP?
If PPP can work with oh-so-Evil MQM killers then why defend such party?

If you think that you are living in a political paradise where everything must be perfect, than actually you are living in a fool's paradise. If you are awaiting angels to take charge of your country while you sip coffee in your bedroom, than you better slip into slumber as it's not going to happen ever. Did you ever seriously try to understand what the theory of lesser evil means?

Disband military, disband courts, disband media, elect PPP government for 1000 years and everything will be fine.

Why you always forget that mqm is essential part of the same government you always condemn? Do you consider mqm as slpeeping partner?

I don't know about that. army has played major role in this economic and political disaster which is spreaded over decades in the history of Pakistan.
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
^ And PPP was jealous why only Army is destroying the country!
Luvly....
MQM saying PPP is ruined the country.
PPP saying MQM wallahs are terrorists.
and they both are "essential part of the same government".
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper…
When did MQM say that PPP has ruined the country?
In fact Altaf held a jalsa in Karachi to support Zardari when someone from PML abused Zardari. MQM was being more of a PPP chamcha at that time.
MQM announces rally in Zardari’s favourIn a political rebuke to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) announced it would hold a “protest rally against the derogatory language used against President Asif Ali Zardari by the PML-N leaders” in Karachi on Sunday.
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
Why you always forget that mqm is essential part of the same government you always condemn? Do you consider mqm as slpeeping partner?
MQM does not make the policies of federal government. PPP does. MQM leaves government almost every month. It's because PPP doesn't listen to its demands.
But even if we do believe in this nonsense of MQM or ANP responsible for PPP's lust for increasing debt, it still does not exonerate PPP government for listening to and working with such parties.
Point of saying all that is that PPP needs to take some responsibility in the current situation in the country, instead of talking about its so-called sacrifices, Bhutto-stuff, army, MQM, PML, PTI, judiciary, etc.
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper.....
^ I'd rather bet on hell freezing over in the future.
Re: For Pakistan to Prosper…
Some more about PPP government’s debt spree.
http://www.nation.com.pk/pakistan-news-newspaper-daily-english-online/politics/30-Jun-2011/PPP-govt-sets-new-records-of-foreign-loans
PPP govt sets new records of foreign loansWhen Gen Musharraf had taken over in October 1999, toppling Nawaz Sharif, the countrys foreign debts stood at $37.9 billion. At the end of June 2007, when Gen Musharraf was still in power, the loans rose to $40.5 billion. This means the increase in foreign debt/liabilities did not register much increase. The external debt/liabilities stood at $22billion only till the end of the 80s.
This shows that Pakistans dependence on foreign loans has been going up with the passage of time, despite consistent claims by all governments that they had done miracles to improve the economy.
The performance of the present government in this sector seems more painful as not only has it been adding to the burden of foreign loans, it has raised the prices of all utilities manifold during its first three years. External Debt and Liabilities (EDL) increased from US $ 37.9 billion at end-June 2000, to $55.9 billion by the end of June 2010, and stood at $ 59.5 at end-March, 2011.
