A really helpful website is the yellow pages for Pakistan, some companies even provide their website links, others you may have to search online to see if they have one. Provides all information on venues, hall, etc…I didn’t find it useful because it names the same companies for everything, but may be useful to others.

They also provide and recommend consultatios which is a really good idea so that you aren’t surprised and unhappy with your makeup on the day of your wedding. They were will nice and said to give them a call for further inquries at 92-42-5755070 or they even offered to call themselves if you give them your contact number. Wouldn’t recommend giving out your number for sercurity reasons.

i have been in contact with them and they are very helpful (quick too 24 hrs replies).
did you by chance ask them how much advance booking they require? If not i will just email them myself. My brother is insisting on me finding a photographer that looks modern so that it looks as though i got my photos from Canada. He’s not a fan of the typical cheesy poses..lol…I showed there work to him and he likes it. there prices arent that high, it seems the same when comparing to other popular photographers…

Bridal outfits from designers require many months....how about photographers or salons? Can i go in January and book for my March wedding...i hope becoz im already stressing about my bridal and now dont want to worry about not getting the photographer i want. My plan is to go to all the photo studios in one day a couple of days after i arrive in Lahore so that i can see all of there work and than make my booking because i know March is high season becoz Muharram is in January and safar is in February...

fari i asked M&A the same question (if i come in march wuld that be enough time to book for june 2010 wedding???)...and she said YES.
also i went to lahore for my engagment and went to allenora 3 days before the event and they were willing to book me for that friday....i didn't go with them cuz i didn't want to spend too much on makeup for the event.
so i think u shld be fine iA :)
but photographer might be a different story :(
I've lived in Lahore almost forever and know that March is not a crazy heavy wedding season, like december and january inspite of Muharram
So personally I think photographers and makeup artists won't be an issue so I would suggest focus on the Bridal outfit
June would be the most chillest time to get married, since it is pretty hot and its not even the peak season so brides might even get lower rates for makeup and benefit from relatively faarigh darzis and kaam wallahs
