It's because of the stupid adverts. Stupid ITV.
It was a mistake, suddenly the match disappeared and the ads came on and than they switched back to the match only to show the scoreline 1-0 to england. ITV has apologised to viewers for the mistake.
So two gaffes on one day first one by ITV and the other one by Green, not a very good omen.

have always supported Brazil in football. I just love the South American style of play, dribbling, short passes, field goals etc.

Somewhere Kamran Akmal is really crying his eyes out.
England were not very convincing against an ordinary USA side today. England have never been very good finishers. They rarely score more than a single goal against better sides and judging from today's unimpressive performance, this WC won't be any different. If they progress to QF they should consider themselves very lucky.

Brazil Germany Italy Argentina Spain France
Can Algeria beat England next Friday?

Italy is good but players are too old so they will get bounced by Spain in Quarterfinals as well.

^ England's problem is not defence but their inability to score goals against top teams. I do not think this English side is good enough to win the WC. Holland as I mentioned earlier rarely do well in WCs.

I reckon Spain have the best chance.
England don't have pace. Glen Johnson did well yesterday, but Rooney...urgh. I can't remember the last time he scored a goal for England when it really mattered. Friendlies don't count!

He usually is for England matches. I know he's the bees knees for Man U, but for England I dont think he pulls his weight...lets face it, there is a lot of weight to pull around!

He scored 8+ goals during the qualifiers, so hardly over rated, he just seemed out of sorts yesterday, chances were few and far between.
Hoping more better in the next game.
