Oh lookie! a sudden change of heart? Are you afraid you might not be able to score with the ladies on here CM?
Trust me, women have a really good intuitive sense about this.
Re: Flowers
Why the winking?
I hope ‘pot’ isn’t some sort of a Freudian Symbol (that I don’t get) you’re referring to.
Re: Flowers
Ouch!
Not with a cutie pie? ![]()
Re: Flowers
How can I miss that one. Zobia, you’re aces!
Re: Flowers
Well anyone who knows me knows I have a great taste in flowers and plants in particular.
If you get me some especailly rare or important species offcourse I will appreciate the gesture… but seriously I dont mind.
There is a risk though becuase if you present me with a particularly interesting specimen, I might well wonder off and start analysing, or even extracting certain usefull properties from said plant.
However much my wife and I share a passion for flowers we have an even more deeper obsession with each other… ![]()
Re: Flowers
Alright, seriously, do none of the guys here like flowers??
flowers is so like 1800s...
Re: Flowers

Re: Flowers

Re: Flowers

Re: Flowers
Ha Bluebells I thought this thread was about the flowers Bluebells seeing as so many guys thought your name was blueballs. hehe.
I think it's sweet that he remembered your first anniversary so I think he might appreciate something that was more personalized. How about you bake him some cupcakes or something he likes if he is in the same city. Or something hand-made. :) Good luck with it.
Re: Flowers
look blueballs - go with some modern gift or which have some sentimental value for special or once in a year occasion. Flowers are like.. well i gave my wife every other day.. it doesn't have that charm, imo.
Re: Flowers
I gave him a personalized pen with his name written on it and made a video/slideshow sort to cherish the beautiful and special moments we shared the first year. He made a photo scrapbook of us and rented a cabin for us near the lake for the weekend. That was so wonderful ![]()
Make the day special…flowers alone are not enough…if u want to keep it reasonable…cook something he likes, watch ur wedding movie together and yes…get urself a new lingerie for the night (and keep it a surprise…it does the trick) ![]()

If so, what's an appropriate present to give ... something that would hold a sentimental value? The only other thing I can think of is food? so maybe send a cake or chocolate dipped strawberries over?
[/QUOTE]
I will accept all your presents - thankies hehe.
Re: Flowers
Even better if they are not married. It is the forbidden fruit. The taboo subject. They would have a lot more fun. Plus we all know once women get married, they develop a very serious disease. Its called BIHAHD. "Baby I have a headache" Disorder.
in reality, you know you would never do what you've suggested here, especially go for the "forbidden fruit" or taboo stuff. you're too religious and and i believe you when you say that you're a total acha munda in the nonvirtual world. it's so obvious
Re: Flowers
So this was a major FAIL!
I don't understand how a guy who celebrates the 6-month, 1 year and 1.5 year anniversary of this date can forget the 2nd year anniversary. This is when I started taking it serious because apparently it's a big deal for him.
I got the ipod but didn't get the time to put his favorite stuff and mail it over on time, instead found a very nice local bakery to bake fresh cupcakes and deliver it to him. First off, getting someone to deliver past business hours wasn't easy and he wasn't home on time. So I had to stay in touch with the delivery guy to make sure he doesn't leave when he finds the apartment empty.
All he said was "oh these muffins are nice, I'll let you know how they taste after I have dinner and eat them" ... CUPCAKES!!! they were CUPCAKES not MUFFINS!
I think he even forgot to eat any :(
Then he puts his earphones on while talking to me on the phone and I know he does that when he's browsing the internet at the same time while talking to me! We talk over the phone after months and he could't even give me his full attention. Then he got upset with me twice, once for pumping gas in my car while talking over the phone with him because 'it blows people up', and offers to send me a youtube video on it and then he yells again because I left my trenchcoat in a hotel and was lazy about getting it back and now the hotel lost the coat.
I sent him the nicest email and all I got him to say about that was "this email is really nice, I'm never good with words like that". He couldn't even write something nice back to me.
We aren't a dysfunctional couple and we are really happy together mashallah and I know he was tired because he just started work and it was a long friday for him and he has been really sick, but hearing something nice back would have been appreciated
:(
Saying it out here is therapeutic somehow.

hmm...doesn't want to you to burn to death by accident.....means...he cares for you.
I left my trenchcoat in a hotel and was lazy about getting it back and now the hotel lost the coat.
didn't want your money wasted......means.....he cares for you
He couldn't even write something nice back to me.
thats because 'HE CAN NOT DO THAT' ....he explained to you that he is not good with words......
I know he was tired because he** just started work** and it was a** long friday for him** and he has been really sick, but hearing something nice back would have been appreciated
a man in such a condition is 'UNABLE" say something nice......he started work, long day, and REALLY sick....
Re: Flowers
^ Daing it. I feel bad now.
I'm not blaming him. He also apologized for making the day a disappointment and he will make it up. I told him to forget about it since it wasn't a big deal.
I guess it was a big deal since I'm ranting about it here now.
I'm ready to let it go now :D
thanks though.
Re: Flowers
^Just the let the man be!
None of this stuff means he doesn’t care for you.
