Do guys feel effeminated if they receive flowers as a present on an anniversary, birthday etc ? If so, what’s an appropriate present to give … something that would hold a sentimental value? The only other thing I can think of is food? so maybe send a cake or chocolate dipped strawberries over?

if it's your anniversary do as follows:
1) kick him out of the house if he is not coming from job or something
2) lights are gone, put candles (do have brush & shower before)
3) when he is in, he will be surprise to death .... wowww not whining today (don't whine about anything related to anything - just shut your mouth)
4) get ready the chocolate dipped strawberries.
5) put porno on television in full volume, actually dim the brightness, so only voice is coming up.
6) now use your tools to make him happy or screw him.

sigh we aren't married yet. I'll probably have to wait out on all that unless I want to give the poor guy the shock of his life after my freak attack.
As lame as this might sound, it's going to be the 2nd anniversary of when I said "yes".... actually the real words were "FINE, you win! now go away!!".
He doesn't care for valentines, birthdays or any of the other days as much as this one. So I wanted to send something over for a surprise because I didn't remember it the first year.
This is actually the first time I'm giving him anything.
So still no flowers? cupcakes? Do men like cupcakes? I still keep thinking food hmm

That's actually a really good idea!
He doesn't play any video games, but come to think of it, he doesn't even own an ipod. I can put some of his favorite stuff on one and give it to him.
