Can i say , when i was little I always thought babies come from trees , just like mangoes and lemons .. when mom delivered my youngest sister, I was with my younger sister and told her , look at that tree , do you see a baby? she said yes .. I said mom’s gone to get that baby for us … when the baby did arrive home, younger one was shocked to see it.. and asked me why the baby doesnt look like other mangoes …
And I used to be such a tomboy , I would whack all the girls and always found racing and cycling with the boys … I think I was 13 and had close family friends over at our home that horrible day , they had two daughters and three sons .. I was playing with the sons .. when suddenly felt blood and tonns of pain … When i saw the blood , I thought thats it , god’s getting even with me now , and I remember ALL those times i had bullied my sisters and other girls and boys around , teared apart my youngest sisters teddies, stole candies from the kitchen, didnt do homework , got bad grades, killed my mom’s plants :no: …
two hours i was locked in the bathroom , then mom came , realized what happened , told me its fine happens to all the girls … khair , when i got back to the kids .. the boys were like looking at me .. and suddenly i felt so out of place .. I went and sat with the girls .. and then both were looking at me awkwardly , the girls and the boys … and me , i was thinking , kidar phas gai hoo :no:

To all the girls worried about labor pain, don’t worry… there’s an invention called the epidural, its awesome I have a daughter and i still don’t know how bad the real labor pains are since I opted for the epidural before the pain started getting real bad.
Guys here’s what really funny , me and younger sis , we call the youngest one a mango so when ever we have to say "stop being so blonde " .. we just say "stop being a mango "

i was 14,infact almost 15..came home from school,had a mock exam the next day..i was up in my roon studying,when i just felt something wet :( yuck!! my room is an on-suite,rushed to the loo,n gosh blood!!i thought that is it,iv definitly done something bad,n ALLAH is gettmn back to me..i stood ther thinking,wat have i done wrong!!
n then i thought..oh no,perhaps im about to die..have i got cancer or soemthing..
kher,suddenly thought ,oh chris!i have a mock tomorrow..get out of the bathroom and start studying again..then felt something and rushed to the toilet..really!!i did that for like 3 times,n finalyy shouted for mum n started crying..she came up n i told her with tears flowing that im about to die :) kher,then she told me its fine n blah blah..
but one thing she didnt mention that im not supposed to go around telling all the boys!dad was away somewhere and i was sitting around waitng for him to tell him that i have grown up..woh tho acah hai mum asked me why im still awake,n i was like "dad,ko nahi bthana?" n she was like "just keep it to ur self n off to bed ;)"
In grade 6, in Pakistan, we had this talk, so I knew something was coming. Especially, because soon after the talk, all the girls in the class (those who had gotten theirs) started talking about it, so there was quite a bit learning going on that way. The day we got the talk, I went home, found mom alone and asked her about it. She told me about it. But I don't think she was expecting me to spring up on her like that :p. She didn't explain it in terms of sex and pregnancy, though. It was just a convo about how women's bodies clean themselves that way, every month, and that I don't tell boys about it.
Then almost a year or so later, I saw something. We were visiting some people in a different city. I went up to my mom and told her that I think I have it now. That was it.
This reminds me of a convo I had with a 22 year old about 2 years ago, about menstruation. You will die laughing at what she said about it. She grew up believing (and still did) that period is actually God punishing all women, for what Eve did, or something. I don't know. A 22 year old!
I was around 13 and woke up in the morning with really bad cramps and I felt something wet on the bed. Well, I was shocked and thougt I´m about to die. Just started crying, bt than my mom came and explained.
i was 12 and i was in school...i wen to restroom saw blood..and told my teacher..she called home my mom came to pick me up..then she explained me....i was like OK...but next month when same thing happend i was home i run to the kitchen and i screamed..Ammmmiiiii phir se wohi khooonnn...my mom was laughing..and said didnt i tell you now this will happend every month ..LOL
But mine is not...Ammi educated me in advance...she had told me everything about them even before they started and she had everything ready already. :)
But there was a girl in my class when I was in 4th, her periods started then, and when she told us, we just got scared of the 'disease' she had got, and when I came back from school, I told Ammi that Sobia has got such a painful disease, she can't even move and all...but since I was too young at that time, Ammi didn't tell me anything then..:)
I am in class right now... and its so hard not to laugh out loud!!! But zabardast stories!! Its funny how most thought that they will die!!.... wat a start to adulthood......... with a death threat!!
Well mine was around 12-13 (don’t remember) but I knew its gonna happen...... but didn’t knew until I was in grade 11 (at that time was in Canada) why it happens. embarrassed
In grade 6.....was in Pakistan..... and girls who already got their’s weren’t throwing the napkins away in the bin.... instead were flushing them.... tu it was blocking the toilets.... and it was nasty and smelly..... most of us who didn’t had it yet didn’t realise what the smell was..... anyways.... one of our male teacher had to clean the mess and next day our teacher told us to wait in the lunch break as she has to talk.... we all were confused... anyways she told us all that its part of girls life and it will go on..... never told us why it happens. Just told us it will help in ur married life.. making us more confused ......... keh agar married life main help karna hai tu why does it start in grade 6!
So anyways didn’t tell mama that we had this talk..... so when my started.... I wasn’t sure.... how to tell mama..... so I waited for afew hours.... and then it was getting heavier.... tu I went and told her the whole story how girls were throwing stuff in the washroom and all... and then ms. Margret told us about it..... and I think I have it. mama was like..... pehle kyun nahi bataya... and then she gave me napkins and all.... that day I went to washroom like 10 times and changed my napkins everytime I was there... mama ko kafi pareshan kiya :P
Mama must have told Baba tu when I went to greet him when he came home tu he kissed my forehead..... and I was thinking keh unko pata chal gaya hoga keh I am bleeding thats why feeling sorry for me! :P
But seeing napkins gave me another flashback about me (was 10 years old) seeing napkins in my cousin’s purse and thinking... keh she has some bimari that she was to carry a diaper with her.. I felt really sorry for her.... and was pareshan until I got mine.
