Re: first period

Lol, funny stories.

I missed sex ed in school, I was 11, and this was very soon after the missed sex ed thing, maybe just a few days (I think I was unwell or something)- I woke up in the morning to get ready for school, went to the bathroom and i noticed blood. I was quite calm actually. I pulled my pyjamas up and walked downstairs and told mum very calmly "I think you should take me to the hospital mum" she asked me why and I'm like "I'm bleeding...to death... I think"
We just stood there looking at each other cos I didn't wanna tell her where I was bleeding from.
She eventually gave me a pad, and forced me to go to school. She told me to stay quiet about the blood and didn't explain anything to me till after school.

Lololll we're used to seeing those ads on tv here. But my little brother actually asks the whole family why grown women wear nappies?
My friend had to go through the ordeal of having her little brother come up to her and say "I know that you bleed every month! heheheheh" Idiots... they were 11.

i like your comment and your avatar even better....

lol....your stories are so funny.

sorry for intruding in the girl talk over here.

abt how babies are born.....till like year 7 i didnt know....and i remember a lot of class mates used to swear...and i never knew what it meant....the only thing i knew was that it was a bad word..............so one day a friend of mine comes up to me - he was quite mischievous - he asked if i knew how i was born......your parents f'd each other......i was like... huh?!?!?! thinking....but that is a bad word......and then hes like they put their thing in each other........and i was just staring at him thinking......omg this is how i was born and this is what that word meant, omg ummm i didnt know who to discuss this matter with and to verify if this was correct........i wouldnt even discuss such things with friends.

also..........i remember when i was a kid i used to ask my mom in front of everyone why she & other women wear pampers....lollllll

and now that i know abt it..........whenever we go to the supermarket and we cross that section or when we watch a tv commercial...... there is this awkward silence and.......... then i just wish i was an innocent little kid - my old self - blurting out and laughing at my mom saying she wears pampers.

I wish I was a little kid! - dont have to go through these stupid awkward moments in life!

Re: first period

Awww! I loved the stories! You guys had me cracking up!*

And I got mine when I was 11. I still remember the date; August 23rd 2001 on a Saturday morning. 9:30 AM. >.<

So I woke up to go pee and I felt this sharp pain and I looked down and saw blood and next thing I know I started getting so dizzy and all I remember is waking up on the bathroom floor. Yes, I fainted! So I was a curious kid and knew about this since I was 8 and also my mom had given me the "talk" around 8-9 too. So I remember getting up off the ground to go outside in the room to get a pad and I fainted again outside the bathroom and I woke up so weak and my mom running towards me (everyone was asleep but my mom heard/saw me fall and woke up and came running). So she got me a pad and baby'd and pampered me all day making me warm food and all. lol, I love my mom. <3

And the pad + younger brother stories remind me! My brother was going through my school bag a few years ago and he saw the pad and he grabbed it and yelled out, "Burger! I want!" -_-

Re: first period

Btw, I cannot believe a lot of you didn't know about it. This def. should tell you to talk to your daughters about it as soon as they're 9, right?

Re: first period

@ theway

I know, lol he got a right tapparr from my mum, mostly coz she didn't know what to say.

Re: first period

I can bet I am the youngest to have ever had periods,.........in this thread.

I was 5 year old and was in first grade. The 'first period' was always on science after prayer. We had eight periods daily. Four before and four after the recess.

:rotfl:
are we talking about THIS period?:faizy:

if you guys hear my stories you will die of embarrassment

first of all, my mom made me keep a pad in my LOCKER for emergencies...one day a couple of girls saw it and started making fun of me

then I was wearing khaki pants maybe the 2nd month after they started, and I never kept a track of my dates and guess what happened? I was in the principals office with a red spot on the back of my pants

and it doesn't stop there
