You poor desi souls, are you gals going to marry someone you havn’t even see or talked with, if yes then tumhara allah hi hafiz hai. Arrange marriage which is a norm in our society does include (mostly) engagement. Engaged girl get fair amount of opportunities to communicate with her wanna be and develop some sort of bonding.
Even, in engagement less arrange marriges girl get to see and meet her wanna be. Guys are excited souls and they try their best to develop certain level of comfort with their soon to be wife.
Just don’t tell me you would be on a bad with an stranger at first night. The idea is novel and ridiculous.
Well, the idea is to develop understanding first, specially if you are uncomfortable with your spouse. Sex with stranger is really a $***ty idea.
ur just gettin too much into it Imran and yes i m gonna be one of those gal who will marry a stranger picked by her parents. In ma family, we have an engagement just a day before the nikah or on the sane day of it. So i dont c any time b/w the engagement and wedding to bond IQ. All i m saying is its just gonna be really hard and weird to give it all in to a stranger on ur first night. I dont know how gals do it kher, i will c when it comes. We all have to face our probs and fears.
Being on bed with your wife is different than with slut only if their is love, care and respect for wife. Nedless to say, these things don’t exist between strangers.
Didn’t you know? Strict misogynist Pakistani culture does not GIVE PERMISSION to the wife to be on her period the first night. If she bleeds, she has sinned.
perhaps i was mistaken..i havent found anything solid about consumating the marriage within 3 days.
however keep in mind the 4 month period..... it is wajib for a MAN (yes a MAN!!) to have sex with his wife at LEAST every four months. This is one of the conjugal rights of the wife.

i don't think there's any truth to it. what happens and when it happens between a man and his wife..why would anyone put a limit to when it should be done by?
IQ i dont have to fight for ma rights. I trust ma parents and therefore have asked um to choose a partner for me. I dont believe in this love crap goin on here buddy. Half of these marriages fail. I havent seen a single arrange marriage fail in ma family.

i dont understand why would any educated person like to marry a stranger..we meet males at work, studies, on internet....but what is wrong with getting to know a person who respects u more than anyone else in the world (husband to be)..its another case if u wear veil..
my sister had arranged marriage , but they at least talked on phone/ net n meeting can be arranged by parents in home settings..i think any educated parents would allow that....i dont find anything wrong with that...
hmm If i remember it rite, it was during the Hazrat Umer (RA) khilafah that such a decision was made coz of muslims armies had gone too far in the world thus leaving their wives behind for long time.
