actually..i don't think there's a defined # of days before you have to consumate your marriage. it should be a time when it's agreed upon by the both of you.

islamically there is. i'll double check i could be wrong.

well, i don't think so there would be any limit as far as number of days are concerned. I personllay, know more then one couple where the guy didn't consummate for whole year for he was unhappy with the marriage.

makrooh is not more than an advice in islam their is no sin attached to it.
