Writing my part of history, if there is anything to add or inform please do so, I know it may get controversial but lets deal it like history:)
India get partitioned and kings are asked to choose either between India and Pakistan, Junagarh was hindu majority with muslim king and Kashmir was muslim majority with hindu king. Jinnah agrees to plebiscite in Junagarh assuming India would do same in Kashmir. India forces plebiscite in Junagarh, India gets Junagarh.
Raja of Kashmir didn't come to any decision. Assuming Raja may go in India's favor, Pakistan decides to send irregular force and regular element of army to capture Sri Nagar. Raja accedes to India, Indian forces stationed in Sri Nagar defends it, the line of final settlement after war becomes Line of Control.

If Gazwa e hind succeeds in monsoon, the muslim army will die through dengue and malaria in delhi:D, other wise swine flu may also occur, we Indian maintain so much of population through overproduction:D

The amusing part of the Indo-Pak war of 47-48 was that in the situations where Indian and Pakistani regular troops actually clashed, what was going on was soldiers sworn to serve King George VI of Pakistan were fighting against soldiers sworn to serve King George VI of India.

If you study the war fought by pashtun tribesmen in kashmir, it was impressively organized and planned.........the reason is that there were also pakistani fauji officers in the ranks of tribesmen in disguise

It was most painful war, for millitary on both sides knew each other very well. just few years before they fought alongside in WWII in african desert, italy and burma. Now they fought each other. The legacy of that war is still with us too

^It was a non-issue. For most part pashtun tribesmen, gilgat scouts and kashmiris of poonch and mirpur fought with indian and dogra army. The most painful chapter of this war was massacre of 2 or 3 lakh muslims of jammu by dogra forces, forcing them to migrate. 70% of population of jammu was muslim, nowadays its hindu majority.

^ It was, if you were soldier, not if one was pathan tribal. It was tough times for that area, predominantly hindu-sikh majority area before partition. the entire process was unfortunate and unforgiving :)
Glad pathans didn't get into Kashmir, saved us another 40 years though

What are you talking about? jammu was muslim majority area before the war.....and pashtuns did get into kashmir, the whole azad kashmir was liberated by them and they reached upto srinagar....they also joined hands with gilgit scouts in siege of skardu..... You should be sad that pashtuns snatched one third of kashmir from you for Pakistan.....You should be thankful to your raam that british general of pak army, douglas gracey refused to send his troops to kashmir when jinnah asked him to do so ,

Reverse was true for Lahore before Partition. It was assigned to Pakistan and muslim majority Gurdaspur came to us. Azad Kashmir is technically Azad jammu, all 15 districts of valley are indian control and will remain so for a long time to come. Skardu is already gilgit not kashmir.

Do i need to remind you the recent incident of sedition charges on kashmiri students after 20 20 match?, they will never integrate with you hindus....God knows what will happen to kashmiri muslims in particular and indian muslinms in general during modi rule,

^^^ kashmir is hindu place by its name, named after Maharishi Kashyap of Hinduism, and we kashmiri pandits were there in our land much before even Prophet(pbuh) was born, so how suddenly it has become muslim place? We didn't invade their land, and how come gilanis and bukharis be native, their name suggests otherwise, it is in reality a place of ours, nehrus, kauls, haskars and Dhars :)
the very same muslims whom you are defending here, made us homeless, made us to leave our land by force of gun, so when they face similar situation they must brave it, since this is the war they started :)
