Onir’s “I am Omar” is a story that exposes the nexus between the police and the male sex workers to harass gay men by using article 377.

Onir last directed My Brother Nikhil. Onir’s “I am” is a collection of four stories. Rahul Bose and Arjun Mathur(Luck By Chance fame) is acting in one of the series.

Arjun plays a sex worker in the movie and the physical aspect of the gay issue is highlighted in the movie. In the sequence both Rahul and Arjun are caught making out in a public place by Abhimanyu Singh a homophobic cop who chances on the couple and harasses them.

Sometimes back director Madhur Bhandarkar also shot a similar scene in Fashion but he deleted it even before it went to the censor board. But for this film I Am Omar, Onir is determined to keep the first gay love making scene between Rahul Bose and the upcoming Arjun Mathur.

As rumours have it, Rahul and Arjun did the scene which goes much beyond anything seen in Indian cinema. They behaved like thorough professionals.

So let’s see if Onir’s “I am Omar” can survive the Censor Board’s scissor?

i think it will be interesting to watch. And i've always been a fan of Rahul Bose, he is a thinking actor. so my expectations are high.

haha....well its becoming common these days....couple of countries have legalised it. so i guess u will be seeing more of these stuff. so we shud get used to it.

i don't know but i found something which might interest you:

so i'm guessing thats not the only one. there are others with hindu names.
