Didn't know you could learn that fast.
My hard work finally paid off.
:D
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
Talat Hussain is the best of Pakistan when you talk about journalists.
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
acha, its confirmed then. diwana did work hard in the UK and got paid off.

As opposed to those who didn't/couldn't work hard and still got paid off?
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
Lol... where are these poor pakistani students?** The only one's I've ever seen are loaded and can afford to live in places most students can only dream** of or come because they have family to live with or take care of them (which are very few).
And maybe I missed something but they only explicitly said that guys and girls are house sharing, which I don't see is particularly weird.
Wrong. You are talking about certain very few individuals only.
The majority of students in Britian or other common wealth nations like Ausssi's & New Zealand are living in quite horrific conditions.

But an excellent advertisement for not educating your daughters.

total generalization. Track record of Talat Hussain is enough to believe on whatever the hell he is saying. My personal experience (went to uni in ny/firenze) totally resemble to this, a lot of Pakistani chicks are available for less then 50 bucks. Welcome to reality, house sharing is fine but what happened there is lives on porn blogs after college is done. it was my & friends dream to share room with desi girls in our days (3 years ago) ..which becomes reality.
caution for parents & all the students to think before leaving the boat.
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
lol diwana, nice edit but it still makes no sense.. um? ;) :D
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
I guess you all failed to see the point - This video very much discourages those people who come to UK on a student visa to earn a living ... or go to Ghost colleges , where attendance aint that compulsory ... as those days are long gone , where one can do 20 hours here and 20 hours there .... make an average living , earn college fee by working in Uk and also manage to send some money back home ..
If ( and believe me it is a very big If ) you aren't a genuine student , as almost 75 % people who come to Uk on a student visa are just there to earn a decent living by getting paid in pounds/ getting a legal entry to Uk .
Please dont think to come to UK or other European states on a student visa .. as Ghost colleges are almost done and now you have to genuinely study .. Which is quite expensive for an International student and you wont be able to earn your tuition fee by working here so if you dont have the tuition fee in your hand - then better think of other options ...
atlast a sensible reply.
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
LIES.
There may be a sall percentage of desi girls/boys who use it as a means of income, the same percentage of desis that you’d find in this ‘business’ in Pakistan, I can’t say how many of these people are students but I’ve yet to meet a student paying off the rent using sex.
I’m going to live with boys in a house, doesn’t mean I’m putting my freaking izzat for sale
Stupid journalist.
All the student halls are mixed anyway so even the ‘shareef’ students are sharing a kitchen and maybe a bathroom with boys. Grr.
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
well i have seen similar things in australia with indian punjabi girls, and i wouldnt be surprised if some pakistani girls would be doing the same in UK, because there are many pakistanis there, and the salaries are not that much with the gfc many are without jobs, inflation is up...so you can expect anything in those circumstances!
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
Darling - it is about international students - who have less chances/ means of earning the living ![]()
UnLike British national students , being new in this country - having language barrier , they have less chances of securing a decent job even upon completion of studies / less chances of getting student loans / less preference on odd jobs ( like working at tesco/petrol stations ).
your scenario surely doesn’t apply here:)

Good :D
But international students are generally loaded, how else do they afford the ridiculous fee?

Not all - Indeed those are , who come to good universities with the tuition fee paid in advance and their families back home send a hefty cheque every month for their food and lodging expenses :)
You will hardly see them even working for 20 hours student jobs ...
Now comes the upper middle class - who come with half of fee paid / with some amount in hand , and intend to cover the rest of expenses while working after studies hours ...
Then middle and lower middle class students - who just want to get out of the country and gain a legal entry in any western countries .. for which student visa is still the cheapest option .. Later they try to convert it into a work visa / resident permit mostly by marrying the locals ... As they are mostly on HND programs and certification courses so their fee is much lesser then degree courses ..

But the international students I know had to prove that they had enough money to pay fee and live comfortably, they had to declare bank statements and assets and everything. How do the less well off dodge that? :S
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.

By paying their education consultant - who arranges Bank statements on their behalf :)
Money makes the world go around .... for 25,000 to 30,000 RS you could either have the required money lodged in your account for two to three months , to create a solid bank statement / or the guy with hefty bank statement declared himself your maternal uncle and write on a stamp paper to cover you for the expenses incurred during your stay ..
Germany has devised a solution to encounter this issue - While applying for student visa , now every international student is required to submit 7,500 euro/per annum Approx living expenses for a year ] in their govt bank account , from which he could draw 500 euro per month ...

In South Asian countries, its not very hard to produce big bank statements, assets, make fake grades and certificates....you just have to know the right people and pay for the service. The amount of corruption and lawlessness exit in that part of the world, it shouldn't be difficult to get your head around this idea. Most of the students applying for third class colleges or ghost colleges come through agents who charge em huge amount for all that dodging.
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
I watched this episode and watched the one Talat did with Boys too
One thing is for sure Dont go to UK for education its quite expensive there instead go to another european country even the Education system is best there instead of UK
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
firenze, I live in the UK and have done my whole life. Do you?
I know there are people who come on student visa's and live in horrific conditions but they never came to study in the first place. My dad's friend used to own an employment agency which had hundreds of these GUYS working huge numbers of hours per week and they'd live 3 to a room to save rent. (a) Never seen or heard this about girls (b) If they did exist then, as the same with the guys, their parents sent them over knowing they would be working and not studying and what sort of conditions there would be. These guys were under no illusion as to what they were letting themselves in for; they came specifically to work in menial jobs such as caterers and cleaners in airports.
I don't give a crap about this Talat guy or his credentials. I just know what I have observed which I'm sure is a hell of a lot more than he has.
It's all moot now anyway. It's very hard to get a student visa for the UK now and they are shutting down all these international colleges.
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
Im sure none of these gals wanted to study there full time.Uk is charm here in Pak everyone wants to go there not for study just for doing job on student visas and live there and thats why they are suffering
And speaking of gals selling their izzats its their own they can do anything
Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
In my 6 years of university where this is a huge international student body HUGE - i have never ever ever come across anything like this.
The pakistani/indian/bengali/malay/indonesian international students I know live in lovely accomm - way better than me! and dont have any issues what so ever and dont have to prostitute themselves to afford rent. LIES
Now what I have seen is one girl from pakistan who spent her rent that her parents sent over on going out, holidays, alcohol, clothes and generally living a fun life and for accomm she lived with this guy - she cooked for him and had sex with him whether she had feelings for him i dnno.
The students who cannot afford fees and get a scholarship - the uni also gives them bursary for accomm (atleast at my uni)
What a load of.......
