Okay, I must have misunderstood your post.

I thought you were referring to that FATA delegation as beggars.

That delegation consisted of the individual representatives of the FATA region & not any existing political leaders. I watched them talking on some new channel today. I was also disturbed by the way the anchor spoke with them… it seemed extremely insulting & beyond limits. I have not seen people talk to their pets like that & this was a pakistani tv anchor interviewing 3 men from this delegation who remained amazingly patient & polite till the end while answering his questions asked with increasingly rude behavior.

Brother I do understand your concern . I happen to spend sometime with the students from northern area recently and according to them the money sent by USA never reaches the needy people . First its government that take its share , then they give out that money to the politicians in that area to help out people and for development , that never happens .

When I said beggars then I was talking about these political elite class of Pakistan , who come to America , asking for more money , just to fill out their own pockets . I have zero trust in any of these politicians / so called leaders . If they can’t have garat eating money of poor people of Pakistan , then there is no point showing it on an air port .

If they have invited you to their home in the FATA area, they will go into their home with their guns and have no problem with you walking in with yours. In the culture of the area if you are invited into their home that means they trust you.

So no they won’t scan you or strip search you.

You folks think a pat-down is less invasive than a body scan? Yikes. I once went through a pat-down in Istanbul Airport just to get into the transit lounge while the plane refueled. These Amazons gave my private parts quite a massage at lightning speed and I tumbled out of the curtained booth in shock, and turned around to see the same shocked expression on the face of the next woman who tumbled out of the booth. That was invasive!

Frankly, I would be very surprised if some bored security guard is really going to get any jollies from a 3 second glimpse of my spleen, after hour upon hour, day after day of gazing at the computer screen. I’m not going to like it, if I ever have to go through it, but it can’t be considered any more humiliating than getting felt up!

Tribal culture and ghairat are like the biggest paradox in our society.

Tribals think ghairat comes from carrying a big gun, and locking up women. The reality is that petty Arabs have used and abuse the whole of FATA area for the last decade and all this khooboo, false pride and ghairat stuff couldn’t do a squat.

BTW, there is no VIP culture in this country something our members of Parliament and govt are so used to.

Sorry but you need to learn about international diplomacy and protocols, what is accepted and what is not.

You can parade US elected officials naked at the airports for all I care because they have to comply with the laws of the land, but it’s a different matter for international diplomats/dignataries.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the VIP culture of Pakistan or elsewhere. Besides what is everyones problem? They were presented with a degrading option and had the cojones to say no thank you and walk away…which is something that can’t be said for many of the spineless wankers on this thread.

Now, did you guys think of another possibility? These guys may have had something on their persons that they did not want to be found out? When the took of from Pakistan I am sure they were accorded vip treatment and went thru unchecked. They land in the US, clear customs - their bags may be checked but not their person. The first time they were asked to be checked like any other passenger, they protest and leave in a huff.

There is no protocol for exempting any visiting delegation. May be heads of states and at most cabinet level ministers are exempt - even the latter I am not sure.

Is it becoming a habit for Pakistani leaders to hide become pseudo patriotism when they get caught? remember Afridi tried to use the same excuse “I wanted Pakistan to win at least once, that’s why I bit the ball”…

These FATA pathetic have willingly kept their people as tree dwelling cave residing apes.

They have actively resisted the remove of draconian FCR.

They take millions and billions of hard earned Pakistani taxpayer money and use it continue their chokehold on the tribal regions.

You say we need to give FATA to Afghanistan.

Are you Pakistani? I doubt it. You must be joking or you are a Kabuli.

Because no country gives up their territory. If these Tribals are happy in Fghanistan, then they pack up and leave. and we will bring new people in FATA and civilize it.

Tribal culture mixed with Islamism has really hurt us. FATA is the worse.

however there are plenty of examples of petty tribalism from even the big cities.

Look at the shenanigans of Altaf and co.

Karachi could have been the queen of Asia if not for the goons peddling Muhajiristan.

Punjab is 80+ million agri and industry hub, and yet it produces pathetic level of collective DECLARED wealth/money/funds. Just Punjab alone should be able to produce and generate funds compared to France that has similar population but luckily they are without the Islamism and tribalism.

The difference is clear.

We won’t progress unless we all shed the yoke of ancient stone age mentality.

The mentality that is shown by this E$tupeed delegation from FATA and being supported by so many so-called educated but mentally tribal people around Pakistan.

But many posters will never get this. Their heads are buried deep in the muck of ethno-fascism coupled with islamism.

Their brains are now closed, the eyes are shut, and the ears are deaf to the new ideas.

Anyone moaning and groaning about the labels like tribal should look at two things.

1. FATA – Means federally administered TRIBAL area aka stone age cesspool

2. FCR - frontier crime regulations specific to TRIBAL areas aka lawless hell hole.

Instead of shooting the messenger, the so-called defenders of tribals should go and fight to rid the two stone age, primitive chimpi systems aka FATA and FCR.

Do something positive for a change instead of harping on and supporting the hellish laws and customs and system.

It takes mental clarity and courage to call a spade! Spade! If Karachites can call Altaf a petty goon, why you all are defending the goons of FATA?
