I’m not a fan of the “skunk hair” look as I like to call it… :no:

You know… desi girls with dark dark brown or black hair that have wide chunky blonde dyed pieces in their hair (they can’t even be defined as streaks or highlights since they are way too chunky and wide).

Also “tattooing your makeup” thing disturbs me. I know of aunties that have gotten their eyebrows permanently tattooed on :smack: . And I came across a Pakistani girl recently who told me that her eyeliner and lipliner was actually permanently tattooed …I asked her why she got it done since it seemed so horrifyingly painful and I was cringing inside… her response: her husband wanted her to wake up looking “perfect” every morning without putting on any makeup. :smack: :smack: :smack:
… needless to say I was just too stunned to even remark back.

I love uggs :frowning: and unfortunetly I do the shabby nails with pretty rings crime :frowning: sowwi.

I hate girls who wear high heels EVERYDAY. And not like pretty high heels but prostitute heels, there’s this girl in uni who literally waddles cause her shoes are too high!

I hate women who wear fake lashes on a daily basis, fine okay special occasions I get it, but everyday? REALLY?

Women who wear coats…all the time. IT’S SUMMER TIME, TAKE IT OFF!

Women who wear ALL their designer things at once. It can be done tastefully, but sometimes it just looks :eek:

Kussa’s with jeans. NO!

Girls that wear leggings as jeans and wear tiny tops. I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOUR PRIVATE PARTS THANK YOU VERY MUCH. PUT ON A LONGER TOP!

Wearing the same thing 3 days in a row…like…really? (acceptable if youre not seeing the same people though)

That back combed I just got out of bed look taken to the extreme. You look like a douche.

Platform ANYTHING. when I say platform I am not referring to the hidden platforms that are in these days. I mean the typical platforms that shorter women wear in an effort to look taller, only to look tackkkkky. height shouldn't be something to be embarrassed about but those god awful shoes certainly are.

bleached hair(with peroxide). purlease you aren't a white chick so stop pretending to be one.

Casual Lawn shalwar kameez that is overly fitted and has DARTS all over.. uggghhh. (esp the veritical front/back darts and side darts)

For sure, uggs. You know what’s worse than uggs? Fake uggs. It’s nauseating to watch stubbed in uggs being worn and doing damage to girls feet. Stop it!

Bell bottoms! Find something that fits you, seriously…you can’t be THAT tall.

The amount makeup worn to uni/school/work. I do wonder what you wear to special functions and parties.

Wearing cutesy type dresses that aren’t completely long, yet below the knees. It just looks like you pulled the wrong size out…doesn’t look nice at all.

One print dresses. Really? A whole looong print across your dress? Mhm.

Corset dresses with your boobs toppling out of it.

Talk of corsets, those dresses that seem like the bra is attached to the outer part of the dress. You can even see the bra lines! Wtfrig?! Looks cheap!

Long toenails, desis think it’s the bomb. So not, cut em…clean em and they’ll look more than better.

Long fingernails that desis think is the bomb too. Unless you’re lazy and can’t be bothered to cut them (like me) you should have no excuse for thinking long nails look lovely, especially if they’re churail length!

Big.gold.hoop.earrings. Need I say anything?

The beg-it messy hair look. Your hair is as thin as, it flops quite badly at everything I doubt hairsprays going to do wonders now.

I love NIN and I went through a phase where all I listened to was Rammstein (you can’t get more industrial then them) But I never dressed the part because it just looks plain ugly! :hehe: I do like dark nail polish though…

I’m not a fan of coloured contacts…they just look really fake. Wearing them on special occasions is fine but not everyday!

The lethal combination of jeggings + short tops = vomit inducing. Unless you have a figure like Giselle Bundchen it doesn’t look good. Just does us all a favour, invest in a longer top and cover it up!

Something I’ve seen goray do more than desis, visible thongs because their low rise jeans are just riding too low. It looks so tacky and cheap.

Oh and something I like to call ‘tadpole eyebrows’ You know where the brow is thick for a few cm but then goes thin straight away. What’s up with that?

  1. ) Shalvar kameez, lehengas, saris etc made of really cheap material with really cheap kam. Quality over quantity people!

2.) Tights with mini skirts. You look ridculous. Please stop.

3.) Tights on women over the age of 25. Honestly, it is SO teeny bopper. And men actually think it looks UGLY. There is nothing attractive about tights. Wear sheer nylons NOT tights. You will look a lot more put together and classy.

4.) Skinny jeans on any girl that is not super thin. Skinny jeans were made for teeny tiny girls with NO thighs. It looks good on model thin girls. The MAJORITY of girls are NOT model thin. Stop fooling yourself. You look fat. There is NOTHING sexy about having thunder thighs bulging out of your skinny jeans. Dress for your body type and get over yourselves.

5.) Super tight jeans on girls that have no a*s*s. You look like a surf board. From behind you look like a gay guy. Once again, dress for your body type. Try jeans that are a bit more loosy goosy in the bum area.

6.) Too much makeup. You look like a w*h*o*r*e.

7.) Wearing super high heels when you clearly can't walk in them. If it takes you 10 minutes to cross the street in your high heels and you're walking like you have to walk a tight rope in a circus, please stop. People are actually pointing and laughing at you. Did you know that?

8.) Super fitted tops on girls with a pot belly. Need I say more?

9.) UGG boots. They are called UGGs for a reason...they are UGLY.

10.) Fat girls in bikinis. Call Dr. Oz, you need help.

I am a punk for life, was part of a college band and hung out a lot with punk and goth chicas, and dig the look, its different, and its daring, never really was into the barbie cindy cheerleader types, although I hung out with a few. It does not have to be all out but a little cutting edge or uniqueness was always attractive. The goths or punks who were over the top were the posuers anyways.. you know what else rocked my world in college..atheletic desi chicas, hair tied in a pony, in sweats and a tshirt shooting hoops at the gym..man that was significantly better than decked out in some desi ‘designer’ outfit.. androids parading at desi events, so boring, so similar, so..so..unoriginal, sheeple :slight_smile:

rammstein eh? nice, they are among my top industrial favs along with Einsturzende Neubauten, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, KMFDM, Throbbing Gristle, Front Line Assembly, Revolting cocks, Chris and Cosey, Clock DVA etc.

I have never met a desi who even knows who Rammstein are let alone like them! Seriously, I get the weirdest looks when asians ask me what music I listen to :hinna:

X2, I have to agree with you having your own look is much better then copying other people. But that definitely works both ways, I guess that’s what you mean about posers though.

Btw, that’s a nice list you have there especially KMFDM and Skinny Puppy :biggthumb: I’d include Kraftwerk and Oomph! to the list! I definitely have a soft spot for Rammstein and NIN though, they were the bands that really got me into industrial music.

Kraftwerk can not be labelled industrial, they defy all labels. One of the most influential bands with significant influence on genres of music like indurtial, techno, electronica, rap, pop, you name it.. one of my all time favs, lucky enough to see them in concert a couple of times.

ever heard Rammstein covers of kraftwerk? now that is something else
