Re: Fashion blunder made by females
bright multicoloured running shoes with multicoloured kurta shalwars..
over the top tie dye type stuff..
low neck kurtas..i mean really..sometimes its just too much, and then ladies complain about guys having shirt buttons open :D
dark undergarments under light kurta shalwars..
itsy bitsy blouses with rolls hanging out
fitted burqas...i mean huh..whats the goal here
and faux pas #1
buying an whole damn desi outfit, kurta, shalwar, sandals, choorian, other jewelry, purse..
and then not being able to wear it more than a handful of times. This is not a fashion faux pas in the aesthetic sense, but the amount of wastage is ridiculous. I may buy a $1K suit but I will sear it for years, I may go get some expensive shoes but I wear them for years.
ladies desi clothes in many cases are not versatile, u cant mix and match, u cant , let me rephrase it, dont right, u can do it but because many desi clothes are an entire outfit, using pieces on their own or mixing and matching it is not possible. There are more versatile pieces available and I know ppl who can do this
faux pas #2- running for fads and really not having a focus on classics, ..long kurtas, short kurtas, loose shawars, dhoti shalwars..ladies go over the top and then of course all that crap is out of style.
