Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

lol, poor captain

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

I don’t know that but I think its paindu-like to eat nihari with rice or biryani :nook:

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

dekh lo yaar kaisay kaisay log hotay hayn dunya mai

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

i know,

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

Paindu? Whaaaaattttt

Ive been eating it this way (shorba wit rice) all my life, I can’t eat sukhay chaval :snooty:

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

Tie your duputta around your head.

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

Same here. I thought everyone did that  . Mix the chawal with the shorba.

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

Eat rice with a knife and fork? So you can cut the grains of rice in half? Who wrote the book on eating etiquette anyway? Why are we trying to hard to emulate these people?

By the way, eating rice with hands rocks!

Sincerely,
Captain Eid Mubarak Lota

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

I couldnt eat rice with my hands... it'd fall out all over the place...

Id have streams of ghee dripping down my elbows and Id have yellow turmeric stains around my mouth

and to save my clothes from getting dirty Id have to have one of those huge aprons or cloth...much like what you'd wear at the hair dressers

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

But dont the rice fall of your knife, Ms Daisy?

Sincerely,
Captain Lota

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

the rice never falls off my FORK captain.... the knife I use to ward off any scavengers...

My food is MINE

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

oh lazy you dont know what you'r missing.

Try eating with your hand, way better than having steel in your mouth.

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

but that will mean I will need to wash them

Seriously I cant eat rice with my hands... I would make a mess... especially now that it is considered the height of bad manners not to stick the grains of rice together with Nihari.. and role it into a ball and pop it into your mouth

I can do one grain at a time

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

^ lol @ rolling into a ball :D

I love eating with my hands esp rice, but I simply can't, really capt. lota ... it falls through my fingers and I end up looking like a 2 yr old with all 4 fingers flattened across my mouth to prevent it from falling. If I must do it, Ido it at home, but then even my family makes fun of me.

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

beautiful picture :k:

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

I can do the eating rice wit my hands thing, but not at someone's house, that's disrespectful an bad manners (u know looking ugly and messy and sloppy).

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

:nono3:

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

I don’t use forks or spoon to eat rice as much as possible.

I use bare hands. It’s more close to Sunnah; more barakah. Even eating can bring sawaab on your way. :subhan: this is the beauty of Islam.

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

waht??? :bummer:

I look/feel very sloppy doing that, i dont wanna subject anyone to the torture of looking at it… if you do it i don’t mind, but i dun wanna do it :frowning:

Re: fancy suit, dupatta and shorba

succumb to it..
