and army is just a masoom bacha who is stuck between all these!!!
Whatever you think, but fact is that army officers in active service or even military dictator or elected Prime Minister cannot force an honest bureaucrat do anything illegal or against law. As for retired military officers, their clout is even less than active army officers.
That is different matter that dishonest and corrupts hold most high posts in Pakistan, and that includes bureaucracy, judiciary and law enforcement agencies. Being dogs by nature and looking for haddi all the time, they do not follow rules or law, but follow their price.
It is because of these corrupt dogs in government service, those who are honest and god-fearing in country (including honest government servants) suffer and country suffers too.

thats the million dollar question, its not just Malik Riaz wants SC to drop cases against him, there is more to it, Zardari/Army what would they benefit from all this, I'm sure, this isnt happening without Zardari approval. I had read somewhere, that there were few cases lined up for CJ in next few months, which include NRO case against President, Rehman Malik Dual Nationality Case and Memogate and few others linked to government/Army!

As for CJ, he is retiring next year, if i am right his tenure was till 2013... so no big deal here for agencies, all they have to do is stall him till that time and then he goes...

true, entire attention will be shifted to this case and SC wouldnt get time to hear other important cases and thats what they want.
I just hope this matter wouldnt just die down like memogate scandal, justice should be served, Malik Riaz and all these anchors/journalists who are under his payrolls should be held accountable for conspiring and spreading false rumors against judiciary.

The elections would be held before his (Cj) tenure is up, I think the biggest beneficiary would have been Malik riaz and then the government, and by this issue both the judiciary and the military could be scandalized, but then again the army chief should have seen why all his generals are running towards Bahria town. I think the army would be third in list but we will soon find out.

Last year they did more , Killed policemen in a police station of Punjab and in Lahore they beaten policemen and picked one with them for arresting a sweeper .

No doubt occasionally army oversteps, but that is norm expectation in country like Pakistan where every institution oversteps their role.
Anyhow, when army acts against corrupt politicians in power then that is not overstepping, as a corrupt politician harms country and it is duty of army to see that no one harms the country, be they politician within country or enemy forces from outside. If army sees or feels that such is happening (corruption, nepotism, mismanagement, etc) then army should act, as in such situation it is duty of army to act with all their resources according to their best ability.
As for attacking police station and trashing them, obviously they should not do that under normal circumstance. But Pakistani police are corrupt to core, criminals, and misuse power all the time. So if army acted against such police then there is nothing to cry about.

Brother, I did read about incidences when army acted against police. But then, people you are calling police are worse than criminals? In my view, Pakistani police do not deserve any sympathy and what army did to police was punishment from God in response to cries and sufferings of innocent police victims. Actually, Pakistani police deserve worse treatment then what they got from army.

I request the Pakistan Military top brass to stop acting like God, Angels, Geniuses, Real Estate tycoons, Fertilizer and cement production experts, Banking and insurance giants, Political philosophers, Champions of medicine and engineering education, etc. etc. and please for once behave like a professional military force and do what they are supposed to do.

Errrrrrr sorry, these thugs do not act like God ... my mistake ... they are vampires and do everything what vampires do. These blood suckers (politicians, police, judges and bureaucrats) are sucking the blood of innocent Pakistanis and thriving since demons got lose in Pakistan after 1971 election and divided Pakistan into two.
I am only waiting for the day when people would come out on roads, pull these blood sucking vampires out of their hideouts and palaces, and drive wooden stake through their hearts so to cleanse Pakistan from them. I only hope that when such time comes (and inshaAllah it would come), army joins people to help them in this job of cleansing Pakistan.
