Saleem. I'm agree what u saying about civilians but that boots are out of their boundaries and need to go back in officer mess. Let peoples decide whatever the fate. I still believe a democratic system rather then army system. Peoples get more suffered and start to realize one day that they not need more thugs.

Those who are benefitting from corruption, nepotism, mismanagement and power misuse come on TV and appeal that not to say bad about democracy as that defames democracy. They also claim not to say anything good about military rule as however good that may have been and benefitted people, it is bad for country. To me, what they say is nothing but BS to fool people.
For vast majority of people, it does not matter if country has democracy or dictatorship. What matters to people are jobs, justice, personal security, developments in country, increasing infrastructure around them, increase in health care, better education, and decent life. Who gets them, politician or army general is secondary thing.
Actually, when someone talks about corruption, nepotism, mismanagement, misuse of power, etc ... these political demons and their supporters say that cause is long dictatorship in Pakistan and that if democracy would have been there all would have got sorted out.
What a BS claim, as if long dictatorship forced these corrupt thugs in politics to do corruption, nepotism, etc... when they get chance to rule.
I have seen both political and military rule in Pakistan. Fact is that corruption, nepotism, misuse of power, mismanagement, all gets reduced and situation of country becomes markedly better under military rule than under so-called political rule. This happens not because Pakistan has seen long military rule, but because Pakistani politicians are selfish corrupt thugs and no length of military rule has forced them to be such.
When these thugs come into power, they do all sort of corruption, nepotism, mismanagement and power misuse ... and blame military rule for all that. It is just like a person abuses his authority with corruption, nepotism, etc ... and when asked why he is abusing, replies that he is abusing because he did not get enough chance to abuse due to long military rule.
To me, I would prefer military rule over these thug politicians any time of the day. Anyhow, forget about military or political rule. Presently, Pakistan needs revolution where public comes out, drag all corrupts and their family from wherever they are, and hang them at every corner, on every square, in fields, playgrounds, and roads. [Hope and pray that this happens sooner than later].

No doubt occasionally army oversteps, but that is norm expectation in country like
1) *Pakistan where every institution oversteps their role. *
Anyhow, 2 when army acts against corrupt politicians in power then that is not overstepping, as a 3 corrupt politician harms country and it is duty of army to see that 4 no one harms the country, be they politician within country or enemy forces from outside.5 If army sees or feels that such is happening (corruption, nepotism, mismanagement, etc) then army should act, as in such situation it is duty of army to act with all their resources according to their best ability.
6 As for attacking police station and trashing them, obviously they should not do that under normal circumstance. But Pakistani police are corrupt to core, criminals, and misuse power all the time. So if army acted against such police then there is nothing to cry about.
1) Please name any institution other then army who have over-stepped??? and no Judiciary is not over-stepping just because it has decided to not to obey army any more cannot be called over-stepping
2) That is hilarious, army gets the beating of their life from India, from US from terrorists with in and then comes out and conquer their own country... now that is ofcourse not over-stepping, that is treason....
3) Who breeds this corrupt politicians, from ZAB to IK, all of them are raised in the nursery of Army, all of them are made leader out of them by the Army and all of them gets punished if they refuse to listen to the army... and it is army who turns blind eye to their looting as long as it doesn't harm their very own interest.... sorry to say, had army let the natural process of the leadership continue, we might have had a better crop of leaders in the country, the leaders who won't look at GHQ or USA for orders.. but army is scared of National Parties, Parties that have influence throughout the country and that is because Army never wants the country to be ruled by civilians...
4) Yeah No one but them, name any politician who have harmed country without getting in bed with Army, Country lost their eastern side because of pro-longed army rule on the country and because army never wanted to loose grip of power, even if it means to have ZAB in their bed... army lost the Siachen while they were asleep, US forces moved and out of Pakistan, conduct operation within a army city of Pakistan and army comes to know about it by GEO news.... yeah no body but they have harmed country, and that is because they are over-stepping big time!!! No to mention blackmailing everyone in the country using our money...
5) So building DHAs, grabbing precious lands throughout the country, running mine fields, running logistics business at the cost of railways, bidding and building roads through out the country on profit-base contracts, and get their ass whipped by Indians, Iranians, Afghanies and Americans all the time!!! is that what not called over-stepping and is that what we built the army for???
6) Yeah, they can thrash anybody any where, and that is the reason that in Mushy era army officers never dared to where their uniform in civil area as they may get the favor back by the people of Pakistan

Ahmed Khalil who is thought to be the handler (middle man) of Arsalan is a frequent visitor to the Prime Minister house, and if the story of ISI's major making a video film while handing Arsalan some amount does that mean the ISI is still involved in dirty political affairs?

^^ It is not matter of IF anymore, it is matter of when, the delaying tactics are being employed by the other party so far, media despite being bought by MR is not taking sides openly and media anchors in order to save their own credibility will dis-own MR and Bahriya and will try to take a lead in order to expose MR...
Hamid Mir's column in today's jang is very important in this regard, he says that family gate have broken the power of MR had in media and now media can talk about his ill-doings as well... seems to give hint of what future may holds
