I dnt give a damn what girls i know are wearing…I unfortunately like to look cute and pretty and hot for my honey bunny…yeah yeah…some girls would say that is not true or not good…but that is me…i am a bit strange…what to do

No i dont think it slimited.
i can understand jealousy over other things, like house car salary etc
but jealousy cz ur wife isnt good looking enough or kids aren't smart enough....what a sad and miserable person that man is...same for the women who think their spouses aren't good enough or kids smart enough.

It's true though, I have seen plenty of men telling their wives to lose wieght and maintain themselves because his friend's wife does that or tell her to cook delicious meals like they had at the dawat the other day at his friends. Or telling his kid to do better in school because he's embarassed that his friends son is getting better grades. Competition has no boundaries.
women do compete with women for most.
for men wouldnt care about the cut of your clothes or the lipstick you were wearing or how expensive your jewellery looked. esp for your better half or your bf, they would find you pretty even when you are in a t-shirt and a shalwar lol .
so yea this nasty competition is b/w girls only. :) this is the reason why you always see
LGS and Kinnaird in lahore oveflowing with hair straightened eyes made fully dressed girls and you are sigh.

...and there comes a time when everyone looks alike! Much like the Emirati women, high-hair..lots of eye-makeup and funky colored lips and huge ugly floral rings. Flashy abaya's and shehla's.. they ALL look the same.

some men do compete on that ... i don't disagree ... but most don't ... specially salary or house or kids or wife ... carr ummm maybe ... but yea .... definitely not wives ...

My secondary school here in Ireland was an all girls school and I could never understand why the girls dressed up sooo much! Why put on so much makeup, why spend an hour every morning straightening your hair? Who did they want to impress? (I know its not always about impressing others, girls like to dress up for themselves too, to feel confident etc.)
It wasn't until I got to college and mentioned the same question to a friend and she said "Apparently, women dress up to compete with other women."
And its so true! If there was just one girl in a class full of boys, she probably wouldn't even bother with all that grooming... but the minute another girl walks in, the famous beauty contest would start to take place!
Some girls would even feel jealous of their own sisters! Why can't we just get along? And plz ladies, if you're one of the beauty pageant participants... plzz stop!

I agree with your post. Men usually think we dress up to impress them but the truts is that we dress up to show other women that we are better tahn them. Sad right? It's true though every single woman is like this, no matter who you are. I personally have seen sisters where they hide their makeup and shampoo from eachother lol I was kinda surprised to see this because I have no issues with revealing these things to my friends. If I had a sister I would surely not hide my makeup from her lol Doing something like this is a bit extreme. Allah has made everyone beautiful. Ten people could be wearing the same thing but does the same thing make you all beautiful? Everyone is their own person, we are all different but beautiful in our own way :)

And the bit about hiding things from each other ... lol!!! ... I was once reading a magazine on a flight, and there was Kareena Kapoor's interview in it... there were just some random questions and one of them asked her about her favourite lip product and she said "I'm not telling you, even if you think I'm cheap!"

That's because sisters will steal your $hit and use it without a second thought; I'm assuming that you were an only child.
