I put some on under my eyes yesterday but the eye pencil smudged 
Any tips on stopping it from smudging?

i know this sounds bit mad... but does hair spray make your make up stay on for longer?

MixedBeauty - I wouldn't put hairspray on my face - try something like the Urban Decay Primer.
MamaKiDua - if you don't have any Urban Decay Primer, put the eye liner on and then go over it with eye shadow to 'set' it. So if you use a black liner under the lower lash line just set it with a very thin angled brush with black eye shadow on it.

lol I don't know but the makeup artist did spray something on my eyes to make the eye makeup last longer and it did look like hair spray :s
hehe CE, it might have been Mac's Fix+ Spray ... A lot of girls also swear by Smashbox photofinish spray?

not much. the under eye area gets moist and/or oily quite quickly and the pencil will still smudge.
don't you have UDPP? it's a lil expensive but indispensable.

I was looking at reviews for shadow insurance. Even people who like it say they prefer UDPP as it makes the shadows 'pop' more and it doesn't hold the shadow as well.
People with dry lids seem to like it.
