Those who are jealous of PTI, don't you guys think that Imran Khan or whosoever hired the chairs he's actually supporting Pakistan by spending on catering companies? It's not like they imported the chairs from abroad like Zardari would do, nor they stole the chairs like MQM would do.

Sure, he is helping Pakistan by ordering chairs.
He, Zardari, Sharifs ,Altaf ,Chauhdais all help Pakistan in different ways. Yeterday Shareef helped Pakistan, Tomorrow Altaf and Imran shall help Pakistan*. Jamima has also reached to share *.
Dukhtar e Pakistan Teriyan will also come soon to help us.

According to hamid khan PTI has some international members who send $10 per month for the parties activities in pakistan.
He also said that the lahore chapter raises its own funds.

as per the website of PTI, there are 2000+ paid member, let say each member at an average send 20 dollars, and there are some 2500 paid members, that makes, USD 50,000 @ 90 = Rs 4,500,000 any audits on it? if you claim and stand for transparency then it should start from home...

Look bro, it is simple, if you are going to use these things as your excuse for not having transparency today then tomorrow you will be here justifying the corruption done by PTIans... after all your covert ally (PPP) have this ideology that corruption is their right and they do it because others have done it to... and you are no different...
so the question would be is there any difference between IK and the rest of the lot or he is the same... so far he and his followers have proven that they are nothing more but the same...

You know i once met some high officials of PML-N and PPP asked them the same question, that how do they get this much money to spend on Jalsas, i had corruption in mind but interestingly both of them said same thing you said, infact they said that they have donors all over the world and get millions of dollars annually... so again what the difference...
anyway, i am not getting into debate here, i know PTIans would have hard time answering this, instead they would be going right left and center and would be calling everyone corrupt and just like a_s have used above, would use the same excuse...

This is not ideology of PPP , Don't count this ruling elite PPP . This is establishment alliance . These all are different people.
This is the PPP, you like it or not, It is now Zardari who is going manage and run the affairs of PPP...

The interesting thing is tomorrow, all parties, such as MQM, PPP+PML-Q and PTI are going to have jalsa against PML-N... i think the alliance of next election and govt is getting more clear by everyday...

I have relatives who have people in the higher echelon of PPP, and during the last days of Benazir’s second term they used to say that they are looting the country as they dont know when their government will fall…so leave it!
This is the reality of Pakistan, and it includes the wealth stashed by all leaders including PPP, and PMLN who have been looting this country for the past 60 years…If this amount is brought back the government can pay off all the debts…

The Transparency International (TI) suggested that $20 billion tax could be received if an agreement is signed.
Transparency International Pakistan Chairman Sohail Muzaffar said this while addressing a ceremony held in Islamabad to award shields to members of the Public Accounts Committee. He said recovering Rs 115 billion is a remarkable achievement of the PAC. He said that the FIA was misusing the anti-corruption laws, while the National Accountability Bureau has been made ineffective systematically.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch Nisar Ali, PAC chairman and Opposition leader in the National Assembly, said certain parameters needed to be set before inspecting the audit paras of the government. He said it was necessary because the PAC doesn’t want that its findings meet the same fate as most of the Supreme Court rulings have.
Ch Nisar said hindrances are being created in the process of audit reports of the incumbent government.
“Process of evolving audit reports of the present government is being hampered. The rulers tried to make Public Accounts Committee (PAC) a joke when the process of accountability of the incumbent government was started. The directives for compliance of 22000 audit paras were ignored. We cannot make PAC a political arena. PAC is whiff of fresh air in this era of corruption and mismanagement,” he said.
He went on to say democracy, parliament and transparency are the ways for survival of the country. “Time has come to steer the country out of difficult times. No institution including Army is above law,” he remarked.
The Public Accounts Committees had not completed even a single report during the last 40 years, he told. The sitting PAC had prepared last 10 years reports during two and a half year, he added.

of course they do, but PTI actually holds "fund raisers", the money they generate is not by just 'membership fees', and you made your own assumption of $20 per person. Though overall I agree that 'renting' 40,000 chairs is a waste of money and PTI should show how the source etc.

Everyone is after the chair. It would be better if PTI act like an NGO or humanitarian organization instead of a political party. Political parties have done no good to Pakistan or Pakistanis.

Maybe you are right, imran khan might not be able to bring any drastic changes to the current system. But we cannot be sure of that unless he gets a chance. On the other hand people's party and pmln have got multiple chances and they have proven themselves to be inept, incompetent and corrupt. After giving these people chances over and over during the past few years if the people still want to go for them again in the next elections all power to them.
As far as the followers of pti being like pmln, maybe that's because many of them are ex pmln supporters. ;)
