If you don't usually spend that much on shoes then I think it is a bit excessive, of course you want "special" shoes for your big day, but you don't necessarily have to have some from these two brands. Maybe go for a mid-range brand, something more than what you usually buy, but equally a pair that won't break the bank and have you thinking the money could have been spent better elsewhere.
Also, the only time anyone will get a proper look at the shoes is if your photographer does some arty shots of them.
I saw these in Selfridges London this Arab girl was buying them.. £2000.! I was like her mothers hands were full of diamond rings and they bought about 5 pairs of louboutins between them

It depends on you... You want it buy it, but make sure to get more than one wear out of them... Personally Louboutin are not that comfortable in the long haul... Jimmy Choos are definitely more comfy...
Have you looked at Bagdley Mischka shoes?? Beautiful, well made, elegant and comfortable... I wanted to buy my sister jimmy choo for her summer wedding... But she too hates spending excessively. Last call neiman Marcus has an amazing sale... Ended up buying her 5 pairs of Badgley shoes, still less than the pair of choos I wanted to buy her, alhamdulillah, it worked out best for her. Regular price ranged from 180-350 but nearly 70 percent off on sale. They will go with more than just your wedding outfit, other Desi clothes or even non-Desi outfits.
My view on spoiling myself and those I love s this, If one works hard to make an earning. Then also gives back to those In need just as much. Every now and then indulging in whatever vice you so have , is well deserved.
Personally I'd rather invest in photography gear, travel, shoes, handbags, then over do it on flowers on the decor which get tossed out 6 hours later...
At the end of the day, will spending a Grand be worth it? If you believeSo, then go for it

£2000 :O Omg. Maybe I would choose dream honeymoon then over those shoes!:D Because with £2000 you will probably get luxus honeymoon so I would choose that over those dreamy shoes...

only a girl who is a shoe lover wud understand where youtuber is coming from :) I am one too .. iv got targets of shoe collecting .. its just something i like doing .. but obv i have to stop when my pocket says no ...
if i can afford to buy choos or loos i wud! so go ahead and treat yourself .. if u are short on cash and think maybe just not now .. then i say hold it .. money shud always be wisely used ..
i recently went to allll shoe stores .. including gina opera YSL D&G choos and christians .. firstly i could not find any pair with a price tag less than 1 lac rups ... secondly they were so dropdead gorgeous that i was willing to compromise on some other stuff i was going to buy to get my hand on a pair ... sooo .. there u have it!

Hmm I dunno, personally I wouldn't cos it's a lot for something you'll hardly see. My sister got some for her wedding, but they're probly the only pair she'll ever buy and it's gonna have a lot of sentimental value for her, which I can understand. It's when people just buy it for no special occaison that I don't see the point.
My best friend bought £30 shoes from Unze, and my other best friend wore khussay on their wedding days, and they both looked hot!! :D

My pockets would say no for even glancing at Louboutins :( I was considering wearing khussay cos my fiance is so short, but don't think a bride looks like a bride till you see some sexy shoes peeping from under a lehenga.

and i think we are on the same page, where i could spend the money, yet on the other hand i do know they are expensive, but you just have too because they are just that amazing, AHHHGGGGG YSL SHOE ARE JUST OOOHH SOOO AMAZING!!
I might endup getting the choos, yet love the bottoms of louboutin, they really take my breath away… m still thinking which one to get…
