Med Only prayers and fasting doesnt make Islam complete in by livin in countries of kafirs you cant completely follow Islam because Islam has the whole goverment and ecnomic and social system with it secualarism is opposite to ISlam
The basic tenants of Islam are to ensure justice, charity, human rights etc. All these things are practiced in western countries. So just because they dont pray like Muslims do, or call themselves Muslims, doesnt mean they are UnIslamic per say. Just as a person who prays but is cruel and hypocritical isnt really a Momin either.
Within the context of what Islam stipulates as the role of the govt, the Kafir nations are very much Islamic in nature.

Non muslim countries are unlislamic first because they are not muslims second thing is Islam tells us how to justice and what laws we can make and what not to do this we have to implement shariat now if a country of kafirs adopt the punishment of cutting hands it doest make it a Islamic country

Yeah but what establishing Islam in the world have to do with making sure your people are educated, and that the have running water, and electricity, and the street lights work etc etc.
As far as Pakistanis are concerned, the govt simply needs to function. Dreaming of spreading Islam is a luxury most people can ill afford.
By the way, how should we be spreading Islam? You cant force it on people, so I assume its by living by example. But Islam as its being practiced in many parts of Pakistan is a really terrible example.

All these things are in Islam, and they are practiced in the West.

but that doent make it a muslim area because still most people around you are kafirs and not you your next genrations can be influenced by them in Muslim country no kafir can become president shariat is establihsed other religions can decide their own cases according to their personal law that is marriage divorce butt not in criminal laws Islam has its own laws ecnomic system and something which are in shariat and goverment can force is these will not be implemented than people will take law in their hands because in Islam its the duty of goverment to do

I dont have to tell my self anything. I know this to be a fact. My Islam is an ISlam of peace justice. Somthing that is present in the American system, but not in the Pakistani system. You can blind yourself to that fact, but while Pakistan suffers one tragedy to the next, and still clings to the faint chance that Allah SWT is on its side, the rest of the sane world is focused on providing for their citizens.

I consider myself very patriotic. My respect goes to the Pakistan that was envisioned by Jinnah.
The Pakistan of today, really not much to be proud of.
And whats worse, they infuse Islam into all of this. Not only does today’s Pakistan insult the memory of Jinnah, but it insults ISLAM aswell.
Also, im a proud Pakistani. But give credit where credit is due. The Americans have done an remarkable job. If they arent blessed, I dont know who is.
All I want of PAKISTAN is a nation that provides for her citizens, and is responsible. I find this Hyper Islamic culture of ours revolting. I doubt anyone even knows what they want when they demand an “Islamic” Pakistan.

I think Med911 and Faris Udeen are saying the same thing, journey is different but destination is same.
We all want a peaceful Pakistan. And the implementation of true Islam will make Pakistan peaceful and prosperous.
The true Islam is the one that Rasool Allah (saw) brought, not some of the envious Arabs who accepted Islam but internally they wanted to destroy and con-volute it's message. They are the same people who tortured Rasool Allah in his life, and now are creating problems for all true Muslims, and the rest of the world in the grand scheme of things.
