Your 2nd thought is as wrong as your 1st one was, and please allow me say, this is what most of the burgers and their leaders thinks these days, you are at war with a rebelion group and not with an enemy who have violated your international boundaries, your enemy is within your territory, idiots have been portraying that PPP never conducted operation in its era... BS i say, Swat, BajoR, South Wazirstan were not they freed??? anyway, this war is not an easy one nor it can be explained to someone you is hell bound to oppose just because their leaders does so.
Operation is on and off.. carrot and stick, break the rebellion let them think they cannot win and let them give a hope to live. let those who oppose negotiations fight with the one who advocates for it, let them vipe each other out... the army does not have to say, they are doing it... i don't know why you and many likes you are in phobia of statement, does the air-strike means anything to you and does that shahid the goat lover statement that we are back on the tables means anything to you... i know you have to look at your leadership to see what to say on this and then you'll make up your mind on it... this war is there... you are not negotiating with friends, you are at the table of negotiations with human like creatures you are fed by your enemies have a mission to kill Pakistanies..
as ur point of getting excited i know PTI and JI were pretty much amused when they learned that 500+ civilians and few 100 security officials have been killed since by the TTP guys, and Govt this time around, instead of sitting around and waiting for summer, decided to strike back as soon as their is some credible information about their hideouts... in these kind of war-fares, only thing which matter is fear of enemy, let these scumbags ( whom PTI and JI advocates everywhere) be uncertain of their hideouts, keep them on the move, do not let them settle, have them think that there are "moles" within their ranks and most importantly, the State shows its intention to speak on its own condition while flexing its muscles... these are the way to contain the enemy we have at hand...
Have you ever thought how come these people come up with the explosives and latest weaponry??? one thing for sure, this inventory does not come cheap nor is available like potatoes or tomatoes at grocery stores...???
your say of NWA and whole FATA being neglected is somewhat right but whom to blame, even when these people comes to cities like Lahore and Karachi, they maintain their dumb old life-style and one in a million adapts to the new place... they never liked development and these so-called braves of NWA/SWA and FATA has been home to all wanted persons by the State and was/is home of the drug dealing, car-snatching/stealing and weapons sales point since 30 years or more... and all the big guns of this region are in these business lines i have stated above.
In these war-fares, 100% backing of the govt and the people and all fragments of the society is a must, Swat we won because at that IK didn't had vast following and no one bothered about his mimics, this time he have a govt in KPK which every now and then threatens federation for something... Feds simply cannot ignore it... and IK knows it... that is why is everyday on the TV barking about how Pakistan with 600,000 standing army and with one of the best air-force and a nuclear country cannot defeat 10-12 thousand scumbags... I wonder why he does that.. is he trying to beat MH to it or as Diesel have said it, he is here to protect Jews interest and TTP is certainly their asset...
