Economic benefits of the Coup

For all those doubters who say nothing good happened in the past decade under dictatorship, and that average joe got nothing out of it, heres a sobering article for all of you.

Yes, some will argue that this is disproportionate growth, impacting a limited number of people, but there is a little thing known as trickle down economics. Look it up.

Re: Economic benefits of the Coup

LMAO!!! Witty!

I'm no economist, but trickle down economics have very little impact on those who are on bottom of the economic ladder. Take the US example under Bush. Rich under his admin got richer beyond their wildest imagination, while poor are left way behind. Samthing happened in Pakistan under Mush. Rich got richer & poor got poorer.

On top of that, cheap credit driven economy & predatory lending by banks (who are mostly now owned by multinationals corps) have left everybody in debt. Those people who borrowed money & bought cars can't afford to drive b/c gas is too expensive & those who bought new AC units can't use them b/c there is no power. These are few examples of trickle down economics of Mush era...& of course not to mention his destruction of institutions which is a diff story altogether...

Read the article. Please. Ravage kudos. I am still chuckling on the trickle down affect of this gem!
