and i LOVE shawaar's dad. He reminds me so much of my own dad its unbelievable... i love it

I really like the drama, it's got such a natural flow and feel to it.
I was annoyed by Shandana's ranting in the last episode....her constant complaining and inability to see her own faults in the relationship (nagging, etc)
And Dur e Shahwar's saas..................she's CREEPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg that crazed look that she gets in her eyes over the littlest of things. She has got some sort of OCD or control-freak issues. She's not a flexible person at all....she wants complete compliance to her way of life....and you would think that if she knew this about herself, that she would have picked a bahu from within her own community instead of going for Dur-e-Shahwar. If you find Dur's upper class upbringing/lifestyle THAT objectionable and if you're frequently insecure about it.......why did you pursue her? Is it because you wanted her to bring material goodies for your daughters? Or is it because you get some sort of ego-boost out of it. Not crazy about Fazeelat and the other sister either. The FIL is reasonable but too weak. The brother-in-law is nice and tries to help out when he can....sometimes on the sly.....surprisingly he turned out to be the most balanced/normal one in the bunch.

Saba Faisal is doing a great job, I love how she expresses through her face.

^ I know she totally gives me the creeps - I can't really watch her scenes because she almost looks like a walking ghost with that makeup.

^OMG I KNOW! Me and my mom laughed so hard when she looked like she got possessed (and the crazed eyes RV mentions) when Sanam's character took off the room decorations.

no its far better than jahez.
jahez is more about betraying , lies and money where as this one deals wth relationships, how a same person act so differently in each of his relations.

Umera's dialogues and script is just WOW! I know the issues and story has been done to death but the treatment this time is very different. You cannot really pick sides and exclusively say one person is right and the other is wrong. The story is dealing with some Very complex emotions Beautifully!
After Daam, a strong script from Umera Ahmed. She had completely disappointed me with Maat.

I Have not watched maat but i m addicted to this one,especially the episodes of shawar n mansoor i m just hooked wth my lapi :D

I am watching it right now and cussing&gali-o-fying munsoor and her mom continuously. aik jhaapar parna chahyay dono ko 
laalchi loag ! muft ki nokrani chahyay thi dono ko ! DUH !

caught up on eipisode 11 lastnight. Finally. Loving it. I wish I could watch the whole drama in one go.
It was a highly emotional episode. The bedroom scene when Shawaar confronts Mansoor about why he married her was excellent. It felt so real.. I completely forget that Mikael did Kuch Pyar ka Pagalpan and even Pani Jaisa Pyar... he fits this role like a glove. The way he walks and talks fully reminds me of army personnel. Other than Samina Peerzada, Sanam Baloch and etc, I think Mikael has done an amazing job in this role..
And mygosh is the MIL scary or what?! Id be crying everyday too!

This is a good drama and Nadia Jamil being in the cast just adds to it
