Hindi poetry is full of thought provoking and catchy dohay (two-liners poetry). Kabir Das, Khan e Khanan (Rahim) are famous poets of dohe. Lets share some of dohe and discuss the thought behind them in this thread.

*Efforts can accomplish everything. Nothing can be accomplished without taking efforts. A purified butter that is frozen cannot be taken out with a straight finger

Totay se phir na milay , milay GaNth paR jaye !
Raheman kehte haiN k prem ka dhaga na toRo. Totne par phir nahi juReyga aur juReyga tou gaNth paR jayegi.

Gahi sarnagati ram ki , bhawsagar k nao (I'm not sure about the alphabet after 'bha' & 'na' )
Raheman jagat udhar ko , aur na koO upaye !
Ram nam l nao he bhawsagar se par lagati hai. Udhar ka aur koe upaye (solution) nahi hai.
