take the kids out of the scenario people.. ofcourse we can come up with many ifs or whats or should or could.. but why wake her up when you don't have to.
take the kids out of the scenario people.. .
Why?
... unless this thread is only for the newly wed couples.

You know, some women really don't mind being asked to do things by their husbands.

because some guys cant cook. simple is that. the cant boil the egg even. They should TRY but if they wake up wife thats fine. It just like saying to wife, why dont you change your flat tire yourself? why call the guy?

And it's not about being unable it cook...some guys like the taste of their wife's cooking...or they need time to get ready in the morning...or whatever...
Really what's the big deal? I like to ask my husband to do things for me. Now is there a problem with that too?

I doubt if you ask him to press your clothes or wake him up in the middle of the night to paint your nails.. seriously, what do you ask him to do for you please explain?
PS: Please don't say he takes you to the doctor or grocery stores.. plz plz don't!
Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up
painting the nails in the middle of the night is equivalent to preparing food for your family?
Yes I do ask him to iron my pants because I can’t make a good crease
. Have I failed?
Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up
^ if it's true then you really didn't fail .. but if he also washes them, hangs theml then you surpassed the test!!

ask some women here, they'll tell you..

^^@ NIKSIK >> lol, i do the same!!!! :D

It is true. But i haven't had the need to have him wash them yet...but if I ask him, he will...in fact I am confident that if I sit back and read Glamour all day with rollers in my hair, and ask him to cook, clean, watch the kids, do their homework, do the groceries, etc etc, he will...
But you know what, you earn that confidence in a marriage. It doesn't come in from day one.
can not agree more.

I press cloths for her whenever she ask me to (ok I dont doo good jobs on desi cloths but hey i try?). I sometime do her laundry (am i less of a man?
) I dont even wake her up for preparing breakfast but all I am saying that had i waking her up, its NOT a big deal.
I am not sure if you really want to discuss this seriously or you are just posting it for the sake of it but if you are serious in this discussion, I’d suggest that you go through serious training/counseling before getting married (if its not to late already).
Marriage is name of give and take. You take somewhere and then you give somewhere.
Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up
hubby never wakes me up...and if i get up and go to the kitchen even when he's in the bathroom, he'll yell out not to make anything soon as he hears pans in the kitchen :) I do make him a huge breakfast on the weekends though so i guess it evens out...
I love u, can u teach my husband?
He doesn’t wake me up but I’d love if he’d make breakfast for the kids!
wow you guys have really high standards, we eat fruit for breakfast…or instant oatmeal ![]()
