Do You Wake Your Wife Up

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

OH GUYS please...my hubby goes to work...i dont. he also does the shopping from time to time and does alot of the house stuff with me...all i got to do is make him breakfast and iron his shirt.....not sure why some people get married if they cant hack making their loved ones bit of brekky....

and sorry...but parathey do not give u a heart attack....pcg...bit more information inside that anti-man head....
my relatives in pak all eat parathey for breakfast yet they are fit and healthy and lean...
my dad and my uncles and mosty people here eat cereal for breakfast but are fat, unhealthy and on lots of medication...why? COS THE REST OF THEIR MEALS ARE FATTENING AND JUNK.....my husband may have a paratha in the morning, but he has a healthy lunch and dinner......

on a sep note, my husband only wakes me up cos hes always running late and cant make breakfast and have a shower at the same time...so i happily will.....why should i lie in, whilst having no job, when he goes to work 9 hours aday, comes home tired and is expected to them cook for himself too cos we are just oh so damn feminist are we...

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

^ very well said..

So, I am not saying eat fiber-enriched cereal with 1% milk in the morning and then go have Argentian steak with slimy fat for lunch and a big McDonald's burger for dinner.

People who are northern Pakistanis have better genetics when it comes to this stuff than more southern Pakistanis. Especially if you have Gujrati genes or Sindhi genes, we tend to be smaller people with smaller blood vessels that get clogged more easily. You northerners are adapted to colder weather, and so you have more fat content in your foods which you've also adapted to. So I'm not surprised that one paratha a morning doesn't kill you. However, I do suggest that one stay away from fattening foods as much as possible. I am not sure how you can make parathas healthier because I have no clue how to make a paratha in the first place.

I just know that my family has genes whereby our vessels are much smaller, and so I guess we clog up easier.

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

I think its cute... I would probably want to wake up and make him breakfast so he can leave with home with a happy tid and a smile...

But if i worked... Id make him make do with toast.. something quick and easy.. Paranthas and such luxuries would have to be kept for the weekend unlessss I worked part-time...

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

I always make breakfast for my husband because he says it tastes much better.

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

He just says that cuz he doesn't wanna do the work. You ladies need to realize how chalaak your husbands are.

Seriously. I ziplock my lunch the night before, or grab a bag of cookies or a frap from Starbucks on my way to work, and I eat/drink my breakfast as I walk over to work.

I’d rather spend the extra 20 min I’d spend preparing parathas and junk getting some more sleep.

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

Ur too brave PCG.. I could never let life pass me by with no time for simple pleasures.. I NEED MY SIMPLE PLEASURES!

That is why I will never be a career woman from my heart!

Re: Do You Wake Your Wife Up

I am not sure how preparing breakfast has been equated to "cooking parathey" by many on this thread.

Breakfast that I prepare on weekdays is just composed of combination of two from

bread, bagles, buns, eggs, cream cheese, cereal, croissant, milk etc.

I just know that my family has genes whereby our vessels are much smaller, and so I guess we clog up easier.
