You know in the beginning,when I came here, it did not matter to me what I was called.
But now I can help feeling happy.

I think I have adopted typical filthy pressure of being a visible minority, which most of you inherit (being born/schooled in west)

I will never understand people who think being labelled a particular ethnicity is a compliment.
It only goes to show that there are serious self-esteem issues under the surfaces.

I've been a victim of presumptions but I've always represented. And so we all should.
This isn't some holier than thou rant. I'm just saying is all.
And if you disagree, you can go choke on a pretzel.

Really? I just assumed I have one of those familiar faces/features. I had to goolge Tulisa… couldn’t remember what she looks like. I think we have a similar jaw line.

Your face is very exotic, I would never have guessed you as Pakistani to be honest.

heck no...I don't see it as a compliment. I swear I don't.

And I always correct them by telling them that I'm Pakistani.

Mistaking for another ethnicity is not a big deal , it will be totally devastating if someone mistook you for other gender. :)

Also, I know many Pakistani's get confused for Indians. But I think Pakistani's take it way to seriously. It's really not the end of the world if someone confused you to be Indian, you know.
