Yes ,they think I am Arab , Iraqi or half cast Arab and Pakistani mixed race.

I think when I wore headscarf, most Arab women used to mistake me from being Saudi etc. However, I don’t understand the Iranian part.

haha…even in Pakistan, in Ferozsons, the guy asked me if I’m from Iran. I was like, “Wha? :omg:”. And then my ESOL teacher, she saw my Pakistani passport and said she always thought I was Persian.

Could be the jet black hair.

For me I’ve been told its the way I look (facewise).

Once, I was wearing a shalwar kameez and speaking Urdu on the phone to my uncle and the cab driver STILL thought I was spanish but “dressed like a desan and knows urdu” :smack:

Turkish (mostly turkish ppl think that I am turkish, uhmm okayyy)
Azeri/Armenian

I think the scarf bit does count a lot.Especially , when you wear different Arab ways of wearing scarf, they definitely take you non-Pakistani :smiley: happened with me many times.

Sadly no :hehe:. That person was just ignorant. One time in class he said Pakistan is in South America. So I was like yup, you’re right, I’m Hawaiian…hahaha.

Btw Hareem you do look very Irani, it’s your hair and eyes. And since you’re lighter skinned.
