Re: Do most pakistani men prefer urdu or punjabi speaking wives
lol, that’s a pretty ignorant question.
Most Pakistani men end up marrying women of their ethnicity, so a Punjabi will likely marry a Punjabi, and a Pashtun would likely marry a Pashtun, people prefer people that speak the same language as them, it’s the samething with pakistani men.
As for “English-speaking only wife”, you have no problem finding an Anglophone Pakistani husband, since a lot of Pakistanis do live in the west and have grown up speaking english, and there are also “affluent Pakistanis” who think speaking English is more sophisticated than speaking their own language(s).
Re: Do most pakistani men prefer urdu or punjabi speaking wives
Many will disagree, but I feel the same way. In my observation…those who feel self-conscious about their ethnic background also tend to feel self-conscious about language; I’ve seen this many times.
Re: Do most pakistani men prefer urdu or punjabi speaking wives
I wouldn’t mind that at all. Even if you come to Pakistan people understand English pretty well and I hope you won’t have to go out to buy sabzi or something like that.
