If my other half was to ever call me begum, I would laugh in his face, and even if he was too call me that it would be most likley to take the piss haha.

Currently, he calls me "wifey". Although we are not married just yet... I think him calling me wifey sounds very sweet. Makes me "aww!"

my hubby calls me 'begum'....
initially i used to think it was kinda weird....never thought it was funny though....
now i think after all these years i just got used-to to it...:)
when amongst company he calls me 'begum Gee'....and many of my friends think its awwww......:)
