Re: Do girls still get touched up whilst shopping in Pakistan?
lol.. at ur experiences girls..
Well yes the same has happened with me and my friends as well.. we always went out with big chaddars and no makeup or anything but still became the victims... I hate those desperate men there. Kaminay.
In UK, it’s a different story altogether. I’ve never noticed Pakistani or Arab guys staring at me except in ghetto areas but if it’s a posh area they act very nice and decent.
It’s usually the whites with gf’s or wives that I’ve noticed staring at me.

I guess lol.
I can be your bodyguard if you want lol. I'll ask my siblings and cousins to help out. My family is spread all over Pakistan and abroad haha.
Aww thanks for offering to be my bodyguard. I might just consider it seeing that Iam going for my wedding shopping soon and will be out and about alot!
Are all your family as fiesty and boisterous as you when it comes to dealing with the pervs?
ok so it's never happened to me in Pakistan, Thank Allah! Butttttt you won't believe where it did happen to me. I was doing tawaaf around khaanay Kaaba, when this guy who was part of the crowd doing tawaaf decided to get close. During Umrah, it's usually always packed, you will feel people push you, press against you etc. But I noticed this same guy kept touching me, at first I just ignored and thought ok he's probably getting pushed, and I focused on my tawaaf, then when I went to kiss hajr-e-aswad (black stone) which I got to do very easily because people actually made the way for me to touch/kiss it. So it required me to stop for a moment, and at the same time the guy should've moved on with his tawaaf, but when I continued to make a round, he touched me again. I was like okaaayyyy this can't be a coincident, so I did what I knew best, I punched him, missed his face, but got him on his neck or shoulder. After that he ran and I never saw him again.I felt so bad that I punched somebody in front of khaanay kaaba while doing my tawaaf, but what else was I supposed to do, I couldn't tolerate it. It was pretty surprising to me that a guy can be so cheap to bother a person in abaaya/heejab, that too in front of khaanay kaaba.
Astaghfirullah!!! What a looser..
Re: Do girls still get touched up whilst shopping in Pakistan?
I am the only female in my family who is 5 11 in height. Me and my sisters. Rest are shorter than me. The guys are all 6 and above in height and I mean all of them. Yes, we are very proud of keeping our khandaan ki izzat etc. If handling pervs is what we do to maintain that izzat then we get it done. Although thank Allah have not had that many incidents.

Omg!! in the Khana Kaaba ! Tauba Tauba! La Haula Wala Kuwat!
I've done Umrah and you're right about people getting close when doing Tawaaf and Alhumdulilah I didnt have a bad experience. I dont think you did the wrong thing for thwacking him even if you were in Mecca. It was the 100% right thing to do otherwise he would have never stopped. Where was your family?
Was the guy Pakistani? or Bangladeshi? I hate it when Bangladeshi or Indian Muslim men stare at you because they look and then start speaking in some Tamil Nadu language whilst shaking their heads sideways. You kinda wonder what on earth they are saying.
Re: Do girls still get touched up whilst shopping in Pakistan?
You all gals should learn some bad words in Tamil from me. If they say something you just say Waya Putt(means shut up in Tamil) and they will be off :p

I dunno what he was, he had curly black hair, tan, with hazel eyes. Maybe Moroccan? I dunno. My sister was there, and my parents weren't doing tawaaf at the time, they were going to join us later. The khaanay kaaba was 1 sec walking distance from our hotel, so we'd often go do as many tawaafs as possible, read Qur'an etc on our own. But even the days we did tawaafs with our parents, there are soooo many people, and they all come between you, and you are bound to get separated.

Yea whenever we go shopping in Pakistan, we always go simple, and my cousins are like omg it doesn't even look like you guys are from abroad. I'm like good, we don't wanna attract attention anyways, esp with all the thefts and stuff going on.

Yea, it can get really busy and excruciatingly difficult to breathe sometimes! But I mean most people are serious and do their prayers. 99% dont dream of disturbing girls for the sole reason that they are standing so near the House of God. I cant believe the devil even tries to tempt at such places.

Also, as soon as the vendors find out your from abroad they bump up the price 50% so its good to try and dress low-key. My cousins also think we dress like right paindus when we visit Pakistan but then they are always under the impression that since we live abroad we must wear mini-skirts and tank tops. lameness.
I am SO writing that down :P

Aww no. I like to help out my friends for free lol. I am not altruistic.
Anyways my best friend in IGCSE was a Tamil Indian Muslim. She thought me a lot of words. So next time some perv is staring at your or something you just use some words of your own with anger. Drifts them off.
Add kasmalam: idiot
and Baimali: stupid
to the list as well. Waya putt kasmalam baimaali. Shut up you stupid idiot :p
Well done for punching him, I wuuld have tried to get the securities attention. But I know thats impossible with the crowd there.
They have no fear. What is he doing at Ummrah when he doesn't even have any sharm.
Astagfirullah.
