No maybe because you imposed "their way" of Islam on them by helping the Taliban all these years. In fact their way of Islam came from Deoband Hindustan, which was nurtured in Pakistan, then packaged and delivered to Afghanistan.

You guys talk about how they destroyed our cities, for the past 25 years we have destroyed their nation, while receiving goodies from the west for it.

If I was a national of Afghanistan, I too would hate Pakistan.

Now this hate of Pakistanis for others, this dogma, this is nothing but utter inferiority complex by Pakistanis. By degrading others Pakistanis tend to feel good about them selves. This is not just in one Pakistan; it’s in all, though it tends to show more in Punjabis.

Growing up in Pakistan as a Pukhtoon, I was thought to hate Indians, from the very first time when I could realize what nationalism meant, what Pakistan stood for. So much so that every time in the theater Pakistani anthem will come up we will stand up saluting it, with a hand on our heart and after a few curse words for Hindus and Indians naturally fallowed.

When I came to the west, I saw these very Pakistanis eating, drinking, living like bhai bhai with their Indian beeradars. They open up stores and restaurants calling them “INDO PAK FOOD”, sometimes they will just call it “INDO FOOD” etc. etc. rarely will you see someone use the term “PAKISTANI FOOD”. Go to their theathers, their parties, you will find more Pakistanis then Indians. This trend has grown so much that now Indians/Hindus come to Pakistani festivals such as Eid etc. to check out their girls. Do you know who brings them along? Their Pakistani beeradars.

Everyone here now hates on Iranians and Afghanis, in reality they will say to the very Iranians and Afghanis “my great grand father was Iranian or Afghani”.

You guys need to stop this utter ignorance. I agree with halwa on this, that people hate us because we have hate in us.

Do you know who is next in hating us? The Kashmiris, by trying to blow up Musharaf 3 times.

That’s a nice cop out but it’s not really true. The way of Islam as practiced by Taliban was imported from Saudi Arabia to Pakistani madrasas and implemented into the already backwards tribal practices of north western Pakistan. It did not come from Hindustan, nor did Afghanistan turn of a land of secularism to fundamentalism overnight. The majority Pushtoon rural areas of Afghanistan have always been fundamentalist in their outlook, just like their Pakistani pashtoon brothers. It was only the areas of Kabul which were trully modern.

They destroyed their own nation, no one else did. The fought amongst themselves, sold their souls to the highest foreign power, became warlords and occupiers in their own land. No one forced their beghairat leaders do become like that.

I agree partly with this, but I have known enough Afghans and Pakistani pushtoons to know how much hate they have for everyone else, especially Hindustani Muslims (mohajirs), and what they call us behind out back while living in our land.

Growing up in Pakistan, you also learned other myths, like how Afghan invaders were somehow heroic when they plundered and killed Hindus and forcibly converted them by sword. There are many myths that are taught by the establishment and its propagandists.

Although.. I had Afghani Frends.. and.. Being in Peshawar.. I had relations wiht Afghani ppl.. Just like many ppl...

BUT.. thats Bcoz.. We are fredns.. and we dont see there.. from where we are.. Laikin... If its OUT SIDE THE FRIENDSHIP and.. Genrally baat aajati hay .. tou.. Bottom line is... THEY HATE US.. And they have the REASONS for this.. :)

30% of Pashto Speaking PPL also hate us... FOR THEIR OWN REASONS.. BUT majority of Pakhtun ppl Like Pakitan and Pakistanis..

I will Share one of the Discussion I had with a MINISTER of the current Governament. He Is Pakhtun and He never knew I am Pakistani :slight_smile: He was talking to me openly … :slight_smile:

When the Pakistan Embasyy was attacked in KABUL.. I was there.. So.. their was a Fire of Hatred in the air those days.. and.. everywhere ppl were discssion Pak-Afg issues .. Border ka masla bhi under discussion tha.. They were angry.. that… Pakistan Army captured some of Afghanistan teratory near Torkham..

KHULASA and.. The Main Point as per the Minister Point of View :

Minister mentioned that… I know every inch of that teratory.. and.. Even an Inch is not ocupied by the Pak Army.
Its all the CONSPORACY by the ruling party in Afghanistan… As they are Anti Pakistan… They want to create hatered in comon ppl for Pakistan. As per his Statement.. The anti Pakistan GOVT OFFICIALS were involved in the attack on the Embassy.. It was a staged attack.. not a road gatehring and anger attck by comon ppl.
He added… As We ( As he is a Pakhtun) are in majority here but. .. they are in rule now adays.. it wont last for long.. They are trying to make PAKISTANI ppl angry on All Afghani ppl. Thay.. Pakistan is trying to capture Afghanistan. Pakistan is another home for us.. and.. they want to take that home from us. thats why they are planing and staging these dramas.

I was also shocked.. when I saw the News reports and the interviews with comon ppl on AFghansitan TV. The Itnerviews were all taken from PUKHTUN ppl.. they were all angry.. for the PAK ARMY catuturing their HOme Land.. They were all cursin Pakistan.

TO PUT INOOCENT CITIZEN ON FIRE IS VERY EASY FOR BIG POLITICIANS

It is really true and very true. The Saudi became part of the game in the recent 15 years after the migration of Arab Mujahideens into Afghanistan. Majority of Mullahs before that period were Urdu speaking trained in Deoband. Let us also acknowledge that who helped the Arabs migrated into Afghanistan? Let us also acknowledge that international communities have stressed, just like they stressed the ties between Pakistan, Iran and Koreas, they stressed the Arab, Al-Qeuda ties to Islamabad. Let us also acknowledge that the Mullah party that has now taken over NWFP their leader is also a Deobandi, a “Muhajir” (Hindustani Muslim).

Now Pashtuns are Muslims, very overly religious people, and only those who find that uncomforting will call them fundamentalist “in their out look”, though that is part of the hidden “Hindustani” hate for the Afghans aka Pashtuns, which I will disclose to you from your very comments.

Coming from Pakistan, you shouldn’t be surprised. Come on now, I dare you to tell a Pakistani in Pakistan that he used to be Indian or from “Hindustan”. The only people I ever found to be fond of that, where the “Hindustani Muslims” i.e Mohajirs.

As far as Afghans hating Pakistan and Pakistanis, it is true, majority of Tajiks, Uzbeks and Hazarjat hate Pakistan to extreme lengths. There are Pashtuns also that hate Pakistan, but they are called Kabuli, even despised amongst their own people because they tend to be more Farsi then Pashto. Though it is unfair to call them Afghans, in reality, the real Afghans "Pashtuns", don't consider them Afghans. And of course, there are Afghans who are brought up in Pakistan, both Farsi and Pashtun, that love Pakistan as their nation.

There will be always people that hate one or the other, it might be you and me, in fact, it is me and you. Prejudice exists in all societies, just like any other social ills.

Read my post carefully, I never said it was her mother tongue, she picked it up from Pakistan because our village is a mixture of Pashto and Hindko so they picked it up here.

Normal Afghanis wouldn’t sell their women for sex but these so called sons of Genghis Khan are not like other Afghanis.

Which “Muhajir” has taken over Mullah party in NWFP? Most of “Deo-band” madrassahs in Karachi don’t even admit “Karachi” or “Mohajir” people, even though those madrassahs operate in Karachi and receive funds from local population.

Pashtuns never left any land? Who are all those “pashtu” speaking people in Karachi :konfused:

fantastic I don't mean to be rude here, however, when you say what gives them or anyone else the right to hate us that makes me laugh because first you hear so much hate on this forum about how much the people here hate others and 2nd in real life. I am from Sarhad in Pakistan and I can tell you right now Afghan r the biggest hypocrites in the world, they live in pakistan and they curse Pakistan and talk mad siht! I hate them i 've gotten into many arguments with Afghans when i visit Pakistan. They sware their Afghanistan is great and this and that so y dont they go back, that is what I always told em!

FYI Afghanis do not speak "pashtu", their language is Farsi. Second of all, Afghanis don't have oriental eyes. Sheesh, you don' even know the difference between afghanis and other pathans.

I don't understand why we are called muhajir or hindustani muslims. It doesn't make sense to me. Pakistan was part of hindustan before so should we call all Pakistani Muslims "Hindustani muslims"? I don't think so. Whatever you guys say, Pakistan IS our land. It's us who made Pakistan not Afghanis. If they were allowed to live in our country the least they should do is hate us. BTW it doesn't really hurt us if they hate us but they have done a lot of things that affected us. You think they follow true Islam?? They beat up their daughters (even in public), they want to close down "our" masjids where women go to learn quran, they don't want women to go out to do anything. Anyone living in karachi will confirm that it's common for afghani men to harrass women who are out in public. If that's how you guys define a true Muslim then you're wrong. Anyhow, if they are living in our land then they should follow Pakistani laws not Afghanistan laws.

Many ethnic groups live in Afghanistan. Main ethnic groups are Tajik, Hazara and Pashtuns. Only Pashtuns were exclusively called Afghans untill the term came to mean any resident of Afghanistan.. Tajiks and Hazra speak Dari, a persian dialect, and Pashtuns speak Pashtu. Hazaras are apparently the descendants of the Mongol army.
