Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
You'll have to travel to Muzzafarabad area and inquire of the local religious leaders to find out the answers to this most disturbing question.....unless of course you are of the firm opinion that I've made this all up for my own personal enjoyment and ability to bash on old men in which case they dont exist at all so the question is not important.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
if u seriously think Allah will send a messenger after Muhammad (saw) u r not following what Islam says…
Muhammad (saw)'s message is the final message and it had very well reached these people…
of other crimes, shirk was very common among these people, and is also very common amnog many others in pakistan, so others shud take a lesson and correct themselves…
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
I don’t. I DO seriously think that Allah will not destory a people unless they are warned by a messenger. LOGICALLY, if we put two and two together, we simply can conclude that this isn’t a case of Allah smashing a village because the people are wicked.
BTW, do you watch cable tv?
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
no, picoico, no cable and dish or video or dvd players in my home....
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
My opinion regarding "azaab" is that Allah swt sent azaab to the nations who were presented deen of Allah by a messenger and they rejected (transgressed) and thats when Allah swt sent an "azaab" at them.
There is also a hadith about "end of time coming" that frequency of natural disasters will increase, Prophet PBUH didn't say that "Allah`s azaab will increase in frequency".
Wallahu aalam bissawab.

Just internet, hunh…I can’t think of a more haram-i medium then this…![]()
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
and when Ayesha (ra) asked that will these natural disasters destroy us even when there r good ppl among us…
the Prophet (saw) said “yes, when evil becomes common”…
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
Repeat question Mamaof3. Thanks in advance.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
Do you agree that you and many are bashing mullah based on hearsay?
Also, eagerly waiting for mama response to my repeat question. I think its about time she comes clean of her intent of the thread.
I personally feel very sad, and sorry for those who suffered even a slight bit. Material and moral support need to be given to anyone affected by this huge unfortunate event.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
Many others, yes…me, I think I clarified my position.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
I am sorry if you meant this to be clarifying your position then it did not.
The whole thread is based on hearsay and made up story about a mullah. Bashing mullah is the real reason why the thread was started.
If you had other posts which clarified yur position and I missed then I apologise.
Like I mentioned in my other post, MANY people said many things about the natural disaster all over the world but mentioning a supposed mullah in this thread is by no means justified.
Please define REAL and UNREAL sins also for our education.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
Mr Deedawar,
I answered the question quite some time ago (see post 95). To further clarify, I did not know what to say to my disillusioned friend other than to tell him you can find ignorance in any religion, in any culture. Came here to seek better advice or guidance, something more substantial to say to him.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
mamaof3,u r making fun of urself...now deedawar and armughal r also intolerant kids? haha....accept tht ur topic was nothing but to satisfy ur emotions against mullahs...
i know its the part of human nature...and i also know tht u will say wht the hell i m talking abt...
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
So where does your post say you needed advise from others what to say to this disillusioned person?
You gave your opinion in the last sentence though to feel better that you exposed some unknown person saying some unusual things as td you by some disillusiones person.
Please be truthful and admit you had alterior motives of bashing an unknown mullah and/or spreading hate among Kashmiris and non-Kashmiris.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
There's nothing wrong with mamaof3's thread. Many of us like to seek advice, guidance, share ideas, and vent. Therefore, she hasn't done anything wrong by putting it up.
We must admit the fact that there are many out there who do propagate such ideas when they should be making duaa for the deceased and affected.
If anything, such events are only a reminder for us to fix ourselves because we don't know when death may approach us and it's best that are deeds and behaviour is upright, so that we hopefully wouldn't have anything to regret about.
Instead of picking on her, we should rather focus on the problem and discuss that, as whatever she has shared is not something unheard of and many imaams do deliver such khutbas/talks.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
I don’t understand the distinction…where did I mention this?
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
I beg to disagree. We have not established if what she said was actually happened.
Now, in general MANY people religeous or non-religeous say things about natural disaster based on their mind and belief. Why specifically drag a mullah?
Besides this 'seeking advise' thing does not exist in her post at all.
Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah
deedawar, whatever it is. Dafa karain. I don't see much point in arguing over it to begin with. If an imaam made such a statement, then it wasn't very nice of him. Others do it, yes, just as bad, but they are misled. I, myself was of this opinion till I got it clarified.
I would argue that most of us agree that if such an incident did take place, then it weren't the best comments under present circumstances.
